Everything & all the staff!. Beautiful stylish building with charming gardens & with very modern facilities, TVs, wifi etc Two carparks with security lights & cameras- 2 cosy well set-up dining rooms Lovely copious breakfast served promptly. As I had to miss my 1st breakfast because I had to go very early to a venue, I found a nice surprise in my room= the owner had carried upstairs & put a small fridge in my cosy bedroom, filled with lots of several good quality yogurts, fresh fruit salad , small bottle of milk ( i am vegetarian) and a range.of 4 packs of different ceeals. Warm well-lit bedroom with radiator. Good electric shower in its own cubicle. Plenty of electric sockets. Tall clothes cupboard with hangers. Nice large window. Very comfortable bed.
This is why I keep coming back to this sensibly priced lovely 'haven'..

Ideal location for Coxmoor and Sherwood Forest golf clubs. Reception (Darren) friendly and helpful - getting our room ready before we set off for golf.

Everything was to a high standard. The room was very clean with modern touches but in a traditional building with character. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. All the staff I met were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed just one night but everything was great. Far better than some big hotel chains and very friendly.

The property is situated on a quiet side road close to the main part of town - about a 10 mins walk and 4 mins by car. Theres ample parking and instructions to enter were clear - I also received email information about parking and door entry . It feels nice and secure and room entry is via a key fob as it main entrance too .
It’s a beautiful grand building and rooms are neat and tidily decorated with all that’s needed for your stay, en suite was well appointed . Bed was comfortable with extra pillows and bedlinen if needed snd a room fan was available. The room faced the garden and was quiet overnight assuring a good nights sleep.
The staff are welcoming, friendly and provided information as needed.
The Evening meal option provided a choice of 3 reasonably priced courses. Including vegetarian option. Breakfast was excellent with freshly cooked food and various teas available and a good variety of cereals and fruit and yoghurt .

Roo. Had good amount of space, shower was excellent and ladie at breakfast was very nice makkng the experience very pleasant

pleasant room on 1st floor, nice and light, good evening meal and breakfast. Adequate bathroom (no bath but adequate shower) and toilet and washbasin. Large window looking out over a fairly busy eoad, adequate car parking space, very pleasant and helpful staff. We would come here again.

Mansfield Lodge is a beautiful, character-full old building. The room was large, very comfortable and very clean. The host was very helpful and communicative.
