A lovely place to stay.
Pros:

Rooms were well sized but not large. Bathroom however was huge. Room was very comfortable. Bed was very good. Shower was nice and hot without much wait for the hot water. Fan was provided due to the extreme heat. All hotel staff provided wonderful service. Breakfast was good but a little small as I didn't have beans or sausages. Restaurant food was tasty and well prepared.

Cons:

Porridge was 3 min pot porridge and not very nice. Otherwise all was excellent.

A handy and comfortable stay but ask for a room closer to reception
Pros:

Spacious room, great pub downstairs

Cons:

Our room was miles away from reception with lots of complicated stairs and doors to navigate - not easy with our suitcases. The room also smelt rather odd - perhaps new carpets or something had been cleaned and stayed damp? We had to keep fans on the whole time.

Good location, delicious food and satisfactory rooms.
Pros:

I had dinner and breakfast, both of which were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms was basic but clean and had what I needed.

Cons:

No aircon meant the room was hot. In the height of summer it may not be a pleasant place to sleep.

Book in. Room. Food. Staff.Breakfast

Cons:

pub closed at 11pm. I had a room overlooking the garden. The piped music in the garden didnt turn off till 11.30pm. Annoying. I was working next day and it kept me awake

Really nicely, recently refurbished hotel. Comfortable bed, nice size room and clean throughout. Staff were friendly and food was good.

Cons:

All was good, no negatives. No Aircon but a fan was provided.

Beautiful boutique hotel on the edge of a lovely village. Food was very good. Nice outdoor terraces. Decor was lovely both in the bedrooms and public areas.

Enjoyable but facilities could be improved
Pros:

Ambience. Staff hospitality

Cons:

Bathroom sink and shower tray were blocked so water did not flow well
We were there during the heatwave and there were only two small fans which were insufficient to clear the hot air
Internet was spotty for my iPhone - had to go down to reception three times
