Really clean and nicely decorated. Staff were great!
The room was extremely hot! It reached about 27 degrees outside but it must have been 30+ in the room. The room did have a fan which we appreciated but we struggled to sleep.
There was no air conditioning, only a small fan, and it was one of the hottest weekends of the year. Sleeping was very uncomfortable..
Lovely restaurant area .
The food we had on Wednesday evening wasn’t nice . The gammon was like rubber and o er cooked . Disappointed .
It felt as if it was a family business and they cared and they showed concern. They’re really involved themselves with you fantastic.
The room was a bit hot. Could not leave the fan on all night very noisy, but still had a pleasant night sleep thank you.
The room was beautiful, really spacious, lovely big bath with a shower. Huge, comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities. A really lovely space.
I know it's a pub....a very nice pub...was just a bit noisy outside the room at night ....but to be expected. Nothing outrageous.
All good - reception, evening meal, breakfast. Only downside is the lack of parking, but this is available within a few yards outside. Great team at dinner.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean.
The room was stiflingly hot, so much so that I thought the radiator was on. It wasn't but I couldn't get any more ventilation because the top hinged window had a security cable and only opened a few inches. There was a fan in the room but I didn't want to listen to it all night.
Amy, the waitress in the restaurant was charming and took my order on a hand-held device i.e. it sent it straight through to the kitchen and bar. My starter arrived almost immediately but it was several minutes before Amy returned to say that the wine I'd ordered wasn't available and several minutes more before the alternative appeared luckily before my main course arrived.

The location and place are nice and the price is reasonable.
It was listed as having air conditioning and it only had a fan in the room.
The hotel was clean throughout, and the room was decorated with a modern, welcoming feel with a comfortable bed. It was also very quiet as it is separated from the pub, making it a peaceful place to stay. If the hotel invested in air conditioning, it would make a significant improvement to what is otherwise a lovely place to stay.
Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our stay because the room was unbearably hot. We barely slept, even with the window open and the fan provided in the room. It got so uncomfortable that we had to go to our car in the middle of the night to bring up our own fan. I've never stayed in a hotel room that was this hot, especially as this wasn't even during the heatwave. The hallway and even outside felt so much cooler than the room. The hotel really needs to invest in air conditioning, as we now have hotter summers; this would make a huge difference to guests' comfort and the overall stay.
The kettle was also in need of descaling, as it had a significant build-up of limescale. When I poured the water, bits of limescale ended up in my drink, which wasn't pleasant.

Room was nice, as were staff, would probably recommend somewhere else if you want a nice dinner but if you're happy with standard pub grub it was fine and the interior is wonderful!
