Friendly and cosy stay with excellent hospitality
Pros:

Homely feel, staff made you feel at home and they made a big fuss of our dog Peaches which she absolutely loved! They very kindly upgraded our room which was very nice, bed very comfortable with a nice big bath. Food was exceptional with a lovely breakfast in the morning to set us up for the day. Thank you!

Honestly, can’t think of anything!

A real gem. Exceptional food, comfort and care.
Pros:

Very comfortable. Owners couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms very clean and gorgeous views. The food was exceptional. At dinner they brought us binoculars so we could see the deer on the hill.

Lovely place with great views
Pros:

Great view from the sofa in our room. Lots of space. Good breakfast, cooked to order. Shower and bathroom nice and warm. Very good beds, big and comfortable.

Wonderful place
Pros:

Everything..beautiful hotel and the setting is so peaceful. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The food is outstanding and the staff just lovely. Very highly recommended. Lovely sitting areas to chat with other guests. We met some very interesting people!! Check out the walled garden and the swallows and green finches.

Cons:

Nothing ..we just wish we could return sometime.

The bunkhouse at Borgie lodge hotel has been our best stay on the NC500. Andi and Dan were so friendly and funny. Very dog friendly. Full use of hotel facilities including the bar and lounge with a comforting woodburner
