Cleanliness
The V early checkout with no lenience!!
We were going to a funeral about 10mins away after staying the night and eating dinner there the previous night … the funeral wasn’t until 11am but we had to leave the queens arms no later than 10am !!! No leeway given … so we were out on the streets with baggage to go on our way !!! Not a good mood to put you in for a family funeral
Great place, near the snake pass.
Amazing location on the edge of the peak district.
Thanks for the last minute reservation !
A bit noisy but it's fine.
Friendly staff and rooms were spacious. Although no parking there was plenty of nearby spaces. Hotel
Across from park
With a short walk into town.
As with most pubs the stairs were a bit narrow and steep.
Curry House upstairs
Great location
Great beer
Lovely staff
Breakfast service a bit slow for some
We love the fact that it is close to Glossop, the rooms are nice/clean and the staff really friendly. They have a Fantastic Indian restaurant on the first floor and live music on Saturday’s, so you don’t have to travel far if you don’t want too 👍
The only negative is the stairs! We are fit enough but I could imagine it being difficult if you are elderly or have knee problems etc.
Lovely old pub with renovated rooms on the third floor, very comfortable with everything you need
The staff were amazingly helpful, helped us with our bags and reserved a nice table for Sunday dinner for us- food was plentiful and delicious,6 cask ales made my husband very happy
The last lot of stairs were very steep and narrow, but did not take away from our stay and the friendliness of the staff and owner
Friendly , helpful staff, spacious room , comfy beds, warm shower which was easy to use, great location, with very good food and drink on site, breakfast was very good.
no issues
Quiet , very friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble.
No parking
We arrived and were a little apprehensive as the bar downstairs was very busy. But the staff and the room were perfect
Low beams - the furniture isn’t well placed to stop you banging your head!!
Friendly helpful staff, good room and lovely breakfasts. Nice area lovely village feel.
Not much space in car park but on street parking close by.
Great food and super friendly
Great stay overnight at Queens Arms Country Inn, we managed to get a parking space just to the side of the building. Love the log burner in the bar. Was a bit of a tight squeeze to ascend the staircase up to our room with bags but the room itself was beautiful and spacious. We had a massive bed and x2 singles, clean bathroom, all linen ans toiletries, a hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities. We ate here, honey chicken burger and the cheese pie were good portions and delicious. Good night's sleep and tasty breakfast of full English with cereals, yoghurt and fruit available too.
Would like to see special offer prices for families on a budget. Price of desserts were £6.50 per person so we didn't have pudding.
The room was spacious and comfortable.
I don't think I've ever had a really bad breakfast like that - (burnt sausage and hard poached eggs)
rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable
I don't think I've ever had a really bad breakfast like that - (burnt sausage and hard poached eggs) The 5 of us staying all agreed that the quality of breakfast was not the best.
