Nice central location. Room was small but had everything needed. and quiet as it was in an annexe away from the high st.
Breakfast was just about ok
Perfect location.
Room is decorated well and feels modern.
Very poor ventilation in our room. Window only opens a small amount which didnt help.
Struggled to get kettle under tap in bathroom.
A beautiful unspoilt historical building full of character with modern amenities
Great location. Lovely and helpful staff. Great touches with quality room toiletries and teas/coffees. Amazing breakfast. I had a big bright and airy room.
My parents had a double room in the ground floor annex which was much smaller and quite cramped.
Lovely traditional hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Great Breakfast. Really lovely staff.
Excellent friendly service with very comfy room right in the heart of town.
Nothing
Location was excellent and some of the staff were friendly.
The room and particularly the bathroom was tired. The bathroom unpleasant as mould everywhere, particularly in the shower and could have done with a deep clean or better still updating.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfasts, well equipped room.
The room (36) faced Broad Street and was very noisy from around 6.30 each morning.
The room was nice
Booking in process. I completed the booking form on booking.com and stated I had a dog. The receptionist claimed not to know about my dog and made quite a fuss about having to change things around .
I asked how to get to the pool and was told I had to pre book a session and the next one would be after7 in the evening . There were no signs or literature about this. We didn’t get to swim.
At breakfast we had to sit in the bar on our own with the dog. The dining area was up a large flight of stairs so my husband had to negotiate the stairs with glasses of orange juice , cereal etc
The pub itself was very shabby and a huge disappointment . Would never go back .
Great location
