Das Zimmer war eklig.
Cons:

Das was auf den Bildern in Booking abgebildet war hat leider absolut nicht der Realität entsprochen. Das Zimmer war komplett heruntergekommen (siehe Bilder)

It was a good for one night in between hikes, if I was about to stay again I would probably book bigger room in the more
Pros:

Amazing location, friendly staff and the pub was lively in the evening. Overall good value for money, amazing location for hikes.

Cons:

We stayed in the Screes building, which seemed little outdated. Photos of small double room were not advertised. Apart from that, the room was clean and had all promised facilities. We had a nice sleep, the area is very quiet, the breakfast was also very good.

Pros:

Staff were fantastic. Couldn't do enough for me and my son. Great food. Nice beer. We were across the road at the other pub which they were busy refurbishing ready to open in a few weeks. Lots of parking available.

Cons:

Bit noisy with doors and creaking late on. Think staff may have also been staying there but it didn't stop us sleeping.

Pros:

Loved the location. The staff was great, very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

Cons:

The facilities are in need of updating. Sink taps were making loud noises when in use. To use a toilet you have to sit sideways because there was no room for legs to sit straight. Mattress was uncomfortable, therefore we didn't have a good sleep. Broken drawer.

Pros:

We liked the location, which was very close to Scafell Pike. The setting of the accommodation was excellent in a quiet village with tables outside. The staff were very polite and accommodating.

Cons:

The food in the pub was good, the pie was very meaty however ot could have been more moist with more gravy. Generally our stay was very good.
