Foxandhounds was really great!
Pros:

Small breakfast was more than enough !
We got an upgrade of room for which we were very gratefull.

As expected , you can't book a hotel at this price and expect The Ritz , food well worth trying .
Pros:

As expected from a hotel stay at this cost really , lovely old building that has probably seen better days but comfortable enough . Food in the bar was good as was breakfast . Staff were very friendly and attentive .

Cons:

Shower was one of those you have to move around in to get wet and a slight smell of drains in the bathroom , ( room 5 ) could do with looking into .

Lovely little stay with beautiful dog friendly pub downstairs.

The room was very good for the price , but the view of all the rubbish out of the window around the back wasn’t good

Cons:

It needed a good clean in certain areas , our room had cobwebs hanging from the roof it only needs a feather dusting

Disappointing
Pros:

Peaceful location

Cons:

The room hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was a bag of chicken and beef crisps in the sanitary bin in the bathroom leaving a foul smell in the room.
