Clean, good staff, good stay away, nice breakfast

Only dislike was no shop nearby within walking distance ( 3-5 ) minutes

Enjoyable breakfast in a nice location with a sea view
My wife is in a wheelchair and access to the hotel was difficult.
Automatic closing doors made it rather challenging to keep doors open whilst trying to manoeuvre the wheelchair.
The location was very good, handy for two good pubs and for getting around Thanet
We thought the carpets to the breakfast room could for with replacing
Beautiful building inside it combines period charm and elegance with modern convenience. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms neat and clean. Good breakfast and very efficiently served. Great views across the bay. Their pub across the road serves good food in a great environment. Weather permitting, the outside balcony terrace is a great pace to eat and drink with stunning view across Pegwell Bay. Will go again

Room over looking car park and neighbour letting his many dogs out at 6am barking
My son and now daughter-in-law had their wedding there on the 22nd August.. and everything was fantastic.. the staff.. the food.. the hotel itself were all lovely. I would particularly like to mention the events manager Jo who went out of her way to help at every turn.. thank you ❤️

Although the room we stayed in on the 3rd floor was small for a couple, it was well appointed and had all we needed. However, from the moment we arrived until we left the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were great.
Room was a good size & clean Shower was great, large towels provided. Room was very hot, no air conditioning, but fan provided. Staff very friendly & helpful. Restaurant/breakfast food, service & outlook were great; peaceful overlooking the bay.
Toilet seat damaged & should be replaced.
