Pros:

The hotel was lovely and in a very good position in Kettlewell!
I loved my room, particularly enjoying the beautiful mountain and river views from my window!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Great food, enjoyed the breakfasts and the wide selction of evening meals on offer
The scampi and chips and vegertarian lasange were delicious!

Everything was really good!

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings

Ok but not again
Pros:

The food was very good

Cons:

The bed was very small the bathroom extractor fan was full of dust and dirt, entrance to room was an alley was very dirty and unkept, there were a load of large boxes and a loud I think dehumidifier machine right outside our room door.

Perfectly located for a one night stay to enjoy the Scarecrow Festival
Pros:

Located in the heart of Kettlewell with onsite parking available. Clean, comfortable twin room which was amazingly cool given the heatwave temperature outside. Great nights sleep and good breakfast.

Excellent stay - we will be back.
Pros:

Kevin, the owner/proprieter, was very welcoming. Room was well presented, with tea/coffee facilities, bottled water, and even a small tube of pringles! Breakfast was freshly cooked, good quality with speedy service. Dinner mainly offered pub food, together a selection of curries - the quality was very good but the quantity of the meals were quite large, and, sadly, too much for we octogenerians!!! Again, very good service from the very friendly staff.

Cons:

Food was excellent and whilst we would certainly recommend the dinner, it would have been nice to have had a "salad" type option on the menu.

Lovely stay in a traditional country hotel
Pros:

Great location in the centre of Kettlewell; a multitude walks from the doorstep. Staff friendly and efficient. Food was very good, everything tasted freshly prepared by the chef and cooked to a high standard. Beer well kept and a great choice on draught.

Cons:

Needs a little TLC around the edges. Outside plants and bushes starting to overgrow signage etc. need cutting back a bit and a good sweep up. Inside, a few cobwebs around the public areas and in the bathroom.
