Beautiful area.
Pros:

Everything was perfect.staff ,food ,hotel great .The weather helps of course.Would definitely stay there again.

Location perfect but let down by the chaos of the evening service.
Pros:

Location was fantastic with beautiful views of Mawddach estuary and the toll bridge.

Cons:

We had appalling service on our first night. The manager very welcoming but staff in bar and restaurant for dinner seemed to have not a clue what they were doing, and one member of staff was quite rude and surly. We were told the table we had chosen was not available because it needed cleaning, given the wrong starters with no apology, our bill was incorrect , with items added we had not ordered, a cocktail I ordered from the menu was not available with no apology and we were not made to feel welcome during the evening .it was my 70th birthday during our stay, and we were booked for dinner the following evening but we cancelled it and booked somewhere else. It is very sad that the location was truly amazing, a lot of money has been spent on the rooms but was let down by evening staff being, at best incompetent and in the case of one, clearly wished we were not there. . We have many friends who like to have mini breaks like ourselves who often ask for recommendations, and sadly we have not recommended the George111. However the staff at breakfast were very pleasant and competent.

Prachtige locatie. mooi uitzicht vanuit onze kamer. Rustige omgeving. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Cons:

Keuze van fruit minimaal en niet rijp. Een verse fruitsla bij het ontbijt zou niet overbodig zijn ;)

The location is perfect. The views from the hotel are stunning. The staff are friendly and our room was very clean.

Our room did not have air con and we visited on a very hot day. However, they did put a couple of fans in the room for us,
