Location
Very noisy
Our room was just above the courtyard and it was extremely noisy until gone 2 o clock in the morning with people shouting and children kicking footballs.
parking, nice tiling in the bathroom, the shower head was good once i'd removed all the limescale from it.
one teabag, kettle is the cheapest, you have to unplug it to fill it! one of those tiny old catering cups, the worst coffee known to man. fan was broken (i fixed it tho), all the floors creak, all the door closers are not adjusted properly so the doors bang until gone 1am after the cackling has finished outside the window. mattress was lumpy, although i did sleep OK in the end .. but £68 for that was a rip off, wish i'd had my tent.
You have to leave thru a fire exit before 9am, and all the signage is old and rubbed off so you have no idea where to go!
Location was excellent and plenty of free parking at the rear.
Unfortunately the shower wasn’t that powerful but totally except it’s a large old building. Also very bright in the morning only wooden shutters and no curtains. If you are an early riser no problem but would definitely return but not that room.
Location
Food was excellent.
People drinking/noisy outside bedroom window til half past midnight.
Was told main door open at 9am so carried case up, diwn, along and down to door then but all locked up. So up, along, diwn and then diwn some precarious outside stairs to exit.
I loved staying at The White Swan very clean brilliant entertainment very friendly
When we ate at the restaurant we were slightly disappointed that there was no salt and pepper in table we wasn't asked if we wanted any sauces we asked for any puddings we were told yer some but no-one came back to ask if we wanted anything else apart from that the food was nice
Great location
All good
Great location. Parking at the rear of the property down a narrow access road.
Location is great for local amenities
We’d had the rooms booked for some time and it wasn’t until we had checked in that the lady showing us to our rooms advised that the hotel was showing the England match - which was scheduled for 1am. By which time it was too late to for us to find somewhere else. Obviously the noise was unbearable and the final revellers went home at 5.15am - so basically no sleep for me.
The room looked like it hadn’t been dusted for some time and being asthmatic wasn’t the best. The door handle on the shower was broken and all in all it was a very disappointing stay. Only positive was that it was a 2 min walk from a family party.
Don’t think we’ll be bank until it’s had a good clean!
Very convenient for my reason to be in Henley in Arden
Nothing really
Friendly staff
Room too hot and could hear people talking outside.
Stayed here for a one night stopover before a golf match. Single room was excellent value and although a small room it had all the facilities you need. Really nice en suite. I was shown to my room by a really friendly receptionist who gave me all the info I required for an early checkout. Didn't get a chance to look around the village but looked really charming.
Just 2 minor points. Paint in the room could do with a freshen up to make it less gloomy. Took a bit of time to find the car park since the apparent entrance passage had outside seating in it. Actual entrance is further along to the right of the pub between two other premises. Directions to car park would be helpful when booking.
Lovely staff, great location
The room was so hot and the bathroom window didn’t open
