Disappointed
Cons:

Bit worn and tatty. My single room was small and rather basic for a hotel that sells itself as a pleasant period hotel. Couldn’t check out through certain doors before 9am for some reason, so people were leaving the hotel via a fire door at the back and that door kept slamming shut very loudly

Disappointing
Pros:

The bed was comfortable. The staff were good.parking good

Cons:

There were no drinking glasses in the room, only one hand towel in the bathroom for two people. There was not a plug in the sink very poor. They don't serve breakfast. We were told that we had to leave down the fire escape as you cannot go through the bar before 9am, being as we are elderly and had two cases not a very safe.

Well priced
Pros:

The location, free car park,

Cons:

There some cobwebbs in the bedroom. It was quite loud as the room overlooked outside benches at the pub

Quirky.
Cons:

No breakfast was a disadvantage but there are options nearby. The hotel is completely closed in the morning so the only egress is down a very steep fire escape. Old and infirm people need to be advised of this hazard.

A perfect location for exploring the area and great value for money.
Pros:

Great location within the town but also within the area. Lovely food and friendly pubs on site.

Cons:

It was quite noisy until 11pm although quiet afterwards once the pub has been closed up for the evening.

exceptional value well appointed and comfortable if the noise bothers you pop down and have a drink
Pros:

accomodation was very good and represents good value

Cons:

the only downside was the room was quite noisy due to its location above an outside seating area for the pub But having said that it was a thursday and friday night if you prefer a bit more quiet take some ear plugs or headphones but the noise soon abates after closing time

fabulous place to stay for two nights in a lovely village. staff were fabulous.
Pros:

There was no breakfast but i ate in the hotel for all other meals and the food was great. the staff were super friendly and accomodating as I was a lone traveller and didn't mind me sitting in the dining room reading where it was quieter away from the rest of the bar.

Cons:

the bathroom / shower could do with a good scrub or re-grouting. but it was still clean and neat and tidy overall.

I guess for the price it was okay but a bit of cleanliness in the bathroom would need looking into
Pros:

Location was where we needed to be so that was good

Cons:

The shower had lots of mould in it. The taps were coming out of the wall. The bed needs a new mattress to stop rolling into the middle

Pros:

Friendly staff and comfortable bed. Large bathroom for a single room.

Cons:

Very noisy /banging door when anybody entered/left accommodation. No WiFi currently available in the room.

I was expecting noise from the bar, especially staying over the weekend but there's also church bells ringing every 15 mins until 10, then start again at 6am- pack earplugs.
