Location and facilities
Room was a little on the dark side.
The staff are always friendly and helpful.
The rooms are clean and attractive.
Breakfasts are especially good.
Prestbury village is a lovely setting.
Everything was fine - no complaints.
Great location and super quiet
Doors to building didn’t lock - always open which wasn’t secure. Room was tired, lights didn’t work and there were lots of scuffs on the walls and bedding was lacking
An attractive old building in beautiful village location with modern bedroom wing. The courtyard garden very pleasant. Food at dinner and breakfast very good.
The location and the style of the room
The only negative was that we both woke up with really bad back ache as the mattress was way to firm for us
The staff are absolutely lovely and a credit to the hotel. The lunch was one of the best I’ve had for a long time. The garden area is so tranquil and the rooms are lovely
Nothing - it was a shame the tv aerial didn’t work but that’s minor
A lovely old inn with plenty of character.
No hot water in shower (Room1)!
Prestbury had some nice places to eat.
Dingy, chipped, tired decor.Lack of cleanliness.Property not maintained.Room was dark and dismal.Stained walls and carpet.Added bonus of rainwater coming through the ceiling onto bed and floor negating the need for a shower. One clothes hanger in wardrobe Paint peeling from the ceiling, filthy windows.
The location is perfect
The hotel decor is tired and the food is hit and miss. Good value fish and chips on a Friday. Poor food availability for celebratory lunch on Saturday. Good value breakfast.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Overlooked the river which was pretty.
The food at breakfast arrived to order and hot.
The dinner was also delicious
Location was exactly what we wanted. Will definitely stay here again
The tv could be updated in the room. Still runs from antenna! No signal.
Excellent breakfast although service was not quick. Luckily we were not in a hurry so we’re able to relax and enjoy.
Excellent help from Annie on reception to sort out a confusion with our booking.
Quicker service at breakfast
Loved the location and outside beer garden
Could here guests in room next door
Convenient location in centre of beautiful village. Breakfast was delicious and the serving staff very hard-working and pleasant
Rooms are tired and need refurbishment
