Excellent location in a lovely picturesque village.
Pros:

Excellent location, lovely picturesque village, 5 mins drive from where I needed to visit.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Breakfasts were really good.
Rooms clean; cleaned/ restocked daily with toiletries, clean towels, coffee, water. Bins emptied, beds remade.

Cons:

Rooms can be a little tired - curtains coming off rails here and there.
But that’s a small point, didn’t affect me.

Loved location. Decor/Customer service needs improvement.
Pros:

Easy location and car parking.
The decor in the main building.
The cooked breakfasts and fresh pastries.

Cons:

Bedroom accommodation had very tatty plastering and paintwork.
No remote for the tv.
Bathroom door jammed on tiled wall if handle not turned sufficiently.
Breakfast service could do with improvement and attention to detail when foodstuffs need replenishing.

Two night weekend stay
Pros:

The staff were lovely.
The breakfast was good.
Prestbury is a lovely place to stay.

Saturday stay
Pros:

Property had a lot of charector

Cons:

Expensive for what it was, we had a higher end room and it was quite dusty with cobwebs everwhere, I would have been happy to pay around 100 but we paid 180 and breakfast was extra

Pros:

The area was beautiful and the food and staff were wonderful. The rooms are very dated and in need of decoration and a good clean, we had to move 1 room as the smell of the drains was appalling. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. All the gardens were very overgrown and couldn't even see out of some windows due to overgrown bushes. The pictures on booking.com were very deceiving and definitely not the accommodation we were expecting.

Awful
Pros:

There was no bin in the bathroom. The shower was in the bath and there work.

Cons:

Our keys didn’t work so had to go to reception.
No bin in the bathroom.
Shower was in the bath but there was no mat to stop from falling. I fell!
They were not doing a cooked breakfast on the first morning. And the basic breakfast was poor.
There was only one member of staff at breakfast on some mornings so it was difficult to get hold of one
I stay for 4 nights regularly at this area and I have never had such an awful hotel. The price is similar to other hotels. I have stayed before about about 2 years ago at The Bridge and it was OK.

A very disappointing stay that was disrupted by unexpected loud noise, below-standard breakfast and room maintenance iss
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, and the bedding and towels were clean. Staff were helpful in moving us to another room when we raised concerns

Cons:

We were not informed at check-in about a live function with loud music directly under our room, which continued until late evening and severely disrupted our stay, especially with a young child. The breakfast was very basic and did not match the advertised ‘hearty breakfast’. The room also had maintenance and cleanliness issues including cobwebs, stained carpet, scratched furniture, and a broken extractor fan

Not as good as the first time. Wouldn't go back with a glass of wine at £14.50 per glass!
Pros:

Breakfast was very dry. The bacon sandwich was mushy!

Cons:

Breakfast. Paid for a superior room. Thought we would get a nicer bedroom with a bath in the room but it was very small.

Ok for a one night stay, couldn't stay longer on that matteress.
Pros:

The young bar/restaurant/reception staff were great, friendly and I was impressed with their hospitality skills.
Onsite free parking.
Fluffy pillows.

Cons:

The matteress was very uncomfortable. Had to sleep in the middle of the bed for a slightly more comfortable area. Broken furniture, dressing table missing a drawer. Back of wardrobe loose. Mouldy grout in shower. Overhead bed lights not working.
