Not the best stay.
Pros:

Breakfast was nice. We had avocado on toast with salsa.

Cons:

The room was tiny for £190.00 a night. The room needed painting and was very basic. The bathroom needed a good clean and the towels did smell really bad, as did the shower. We couldn’t use the shower as it smelt so bad. There were no other rooms available. My friend had stayed there previously and loved it. She was very excited to stay - to say she was disappointed was an understatement. She told reception she was very disappointed with the rooms cleanliness, the decor, the facilities in the room, and what we actually got for our money. She loved her previous stay - but wasn’t at all happy with this room at all. To be honest, neither was I. £190.00 was a lot if money for a small room and breakfast for one night. We expected more.

Top Lage am Fistral Beach, 5 Minuten zum Stadtzentrum. Bar, Restaurant modern und stylisch. Mitarbeiter super nett und freundlich. Gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Keinerlei Ablagen im großen Bad, nicht einmal für Duschgel in der Dusche und Handtücher. Kaum Ablagen für Kleidung im Zimmer

Lovely stay very close to the beach, staff were great and it was very dog friendly!
Pros:

This hotel was perfect for a dog staycation, the breakfast was really good as there were plenty options and was included with our room. Drinks were a little expensive but we found this was the case in most places around Newquay. Staff were really friendly and the room with the balcony was a bonus. Lots of dogs here and the place was very accommodating towards dog owners!

Cons:

We did come during the heat wave, there was no aircon so the rooms were a little hot at night, we did try to leave the balcony doors open but it was a little noisy outside.
The only other thing was the shower, the water pressure wasn’t the best but we managed.

Pros:

The room on the 2nd floor was big even the bathroom with beautiful view of the beach. Cleaned every day. The staff where all friendly and helpful. Very good location close to the beach.

Cons:

Depite being on the 2nd floor there was a lot of noise comming from the bar/restaurant area at night.. during one particular night it was so loud that even guests from other rooms were complaining. The windows need some cleaning.

Good location, great breakfast, moderate comfort
Pros:

Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Definitely worth the money. Personnel were also very helpful and accommodating. There was also a parking lot available for a small fee & very conveniently located at the back of the hotel.

Cons:

Our room was decent but a bit worn out. We stayed only for two nights, so we didn't need much, but if our stay were longer, I would not recommend this room since it was small and hot during muggy, airless summer nights. I understand that heat waves are not up to anybody from the hotel's management, but a fan would be a nice addition to the room.
