Property Description

The Inn at Grasmere is set in the centre of the village, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and relaxation room, stylish en suite rooms with free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and power showers. 1769 Bar & Restaurant serves seasonal, locally sourced food, and the Lakeland pub offers real ales and bar meals. Limited free car parking on site. Walking routes start on the doorstep. Sister property The Little Inn is directly opposite.

Please note that on-site parking is limited and on a first come, first served basis.

When booking more than 4 rooms, 100 percent of the first night may be charged anytime after booking.

Please note that extra bed requests need to be confirmed by management before arrival.

Pets are allowed in pet friendly rooms only and charges are applicable. You must request a pet friendly room before making a reservation as not all rooms take dogs.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Lovely Hotel would recommend to others
Pros:

Location and peace absolutely perfect

Cons:

We where in room 303 and although everything was clean well presented , I felt £350 for such a small room was a a little over priced

Very comfortable room.

Not much. The furniture/bathroom in our room showing some wear and tear but being picky here.

Lovely hotel in a lovely place full of lovely people.
Pros:

The whole place was spotless and nicely decorated. The food was good. The atmosphere was friendly. All the staff were very professional, polity and extremely friendly.

Cons:

There wasn’t enough plug sockets in the room by the beds for phone and watch charging.

Insecure wifi - not good enough for a hotel of this calibre.
Bedside lamp switch button was out of reach behind the bed so each time I wanted to turn it on or off I had to get out of bed and move the bedside table and reach behind the bed. So inconvenient and difficult to do. All it needed was a longer extension lead. I did mention it to Reception and they did send someone to sort it but it only moved a fraction. It needs sorting as some people would not be able to manage it. I had a real struggle each time I used the lamp.

Receptionist gave me a new room, which was freezing. She put the heating in, so was much better

Cons:

The gutters leaked outside our room and kept us awake all night. The bathroom was tired and bath panel was rotted. Not worth the price. We reported the gutters the nest morning and were told they should have been repaired last week. Obviously an on going issue so why do they let this room out? Very unprofessional. Thumbs down from us.
