sehr gutes Frühstück und gutes Restaurant, nette Gastgeber, relativ günstig, schöne Lage

Cons:

die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, für den Preis aber ok, erinnerte mich an meine Kindheit, also eher vintage feeling, daher für mich nicht störend:-)sondern eine nette Abwechslung

Delightful traditional hotel.
Pros:

I liked that a cooked breakfast was included in the tariff. And the staff were very obliging, storing my suitcase for several hours before I had to catch a train. I also liked that the rooms were named.

Cons:

I found the shower controls a bit tricky to understand.

Clean and comfortable, good food. Also shelter for the bikes.

Cons:

Generally in need of some TLC. Grout missing between floor tiles, walls not finished. Signs of where and tear over time not maintained. Would have expected this condition for rooms to be priced £50-60.

Lovely location, great staff and very comfy beds.
Pros:

We received a massively warm welcome after a very long trip from Yorkshire.
The room was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower was nice and powerful.
We had dinner which was reasonably priced and tasted delicious.

We also got free parking which was a bonus as I have a very large van that takes a good bit of space up.

I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in the future.

I had to leave for work without saying thank you - so saying it here. Thanks for being kind.
Pros:

Staff were really kind. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty. Plenty of easy parking. A really comfortable stay in an amazing part of the world. I had a fantastic run in the forest. Will be back if I ever pass through again. And great value.

OVERNIGHT STAY FOR GOLF
Pros:

Stayed the one night for a golf competition. Great parking off the street, really friendly staff. Brilliant food, comfortable rooms, lovely place to stay and will definitely stay again

Cons:

Shower was a little small, but that is me just being picky.

Brilliant value for money, clean rooms and friendly staff
Pros:

I only stayed here for one night as I was just passing through, it was a budget single room. Basic but clean, comfortable and the hot chocolate and Tunnocks caramel wafer but was a nice touch after a long day! Was surprised to find out breakfast (had the fried breakfast) was included in the price, meaning it’s incredibly good value for money. The pub was nice and although I didn’t have dinner - it looked delicious. Would recommend!

Hospitality at another level
Pros:

What a brilliant hotel. The thing that made it extra special was all the members of staff. They couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. We had our dinner and breakfast in the hotel which was delicious and the waiting staff were a delight when they served us. The room was comfy and spacious. We brought our dog with us and the hotel was very dog friendly. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will definitely come back for another break soon.
