Pros:

Hotel was in a good location.Room was lovely & spacious.
Staff were very helpful & early check in which was a bonus.

Cons:

The only thing I would say negative was that the outside terrace area could do with a bit of love.

If you only need a bed and a shower and don’t need luxury or are there for any extended period of time, this place will

Cheap (only needed a room with a bed and shower for one night as going to Burghley horse trials next day so m: literally went to the room for a shower then out for the evening, back to the room to sleep and shower in the morning): so at that price it met our needs perfectly, although wouldn’t stay here if I were on an extended stay or if I needed to use the room for anything other than showering or sleeping - you wouldn’t chose to spend an evening in the room chilling out.
Room was very clean and easy to access: no staff needed as key card in safe box outside with access code provided.
Location was fine: a 30 second walk from a car park and close to the town centre so perfectly walkable for pubs and restaurants.

Cons:

Unfortunately they don’t allow dogs so had to leave ours with friends for the weekend.

No air con. A fan was provided but covered in dust so we could use it. In summer the rooms get very hot. The room was dust with cobwebs but was superficially clean. Weird smell from the bathrooms (we had two rooms). But bathroom and linen weee clean.

Generally enjoyable stay, close to car park and amenities. Self check in easy.

Location, ease of check in.Quiet area.

Cons:

Smells in corridor’s, and very warm room. Tv didn’t function in room.

sent messages by email on day of arrival about entry etc to the hotel. Not very helpful when you are out and about with no signal. None of the facilities mentioned were actually there. No hair dryer and toiletries looked like other peoples left overs. There was tea and coffee but no milk provided. A shower panel was missing and no shower drain cover. The drain is clogged and smell of stagnant water. Impossible to gain access to the alleged free Wifi. Room was incredibly hot and there was no bin in the room or bath room.

Good but some security concerns with the downstairs door and window
Pros:

I did not have breakfast

Cons:

I hated the single bathroom tap as you could not get cold water properly to drink or use to make drinks

Pros:

When we got locked out of our room at half past midnight one phone call and a staff member came down and let us in very quickly.

Cons:

Room was hot ,however opening up the bathroom ceiling vent and using the supplied fan to pull in cool air from the window cooled it down

This was the first and last time we will stay at this hotel. Value for money not a chance.
Pros:

Did not really like anything. The town was very nice and the wheatsheaf pub next door was very welcoming.

Cons:

No where to park overnight.
Description of the room and facilities were inaccurate.
The bed was to small and squeaked when you moved
Only one bath towel between two adults.
Room description was inaccurate.
