Lovely clean room. Very friendly staff. We had food in the bar and it was fantastic. Shame they don't do breakfast, as I'm sure it would've been equally as good!
Easy check in and check out. Very large car park.
No hairdryer in the room.

No breakfast provide - which was a bit awkward - but the evening meal I had was fine.
Room was comfortable and clean as were the towels. Good shower as well.
More important the staff were friendly and helpful as all times.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean if a little dated and it was well provisioned for a cheap weekend stay.
The ad says (I noticed after booking) that there 'may' be some noise as they have a bar downstairs so I took some earplugs...they did not help. The music was very loud until after 23:00 on the Friday with accompanying constant shouting and banging and whilst not as loud on the Saturday, it still wasn't quiet enough to sleep through despite having run a 30 mile ultra over several mountains earlier that day. There was very little, if any sound insulation and I could literally hear conversations and arguments going on underneath me. It may well be much quieter during the week, but it's not the place to stay on the weekend if you want an early night.
Room was fine, had everything we needed. And the pub downstairs served nice food.
Not the venues fault, but was incredibly hot when we stayed and there was a function downstairs so was noisy when we had the windows open.

There wasnt anything not to like. I prefer a fuller pillow but thats just my preference.
The staff were helpful, friendly & polite. The bed was lovely & comfortable. Furnishings were nice.
The room was right above the bar & was quite noisy until late. If I had wanted an early night, I couldn't have had one. The music could've been turned down abit after the bar closed at 10.30pm but was playing quite loud until 11.30pm. The room was clean overall but there was a mug/cup mark on the window sill, crumbs in the drawers either side of the bed, bits under the glass on the bedside cabinets & dust ontop of the wardrobe.
