Perfectly charming with outstanding service provided by Mary.
Pros:

The house is beautiful and charming. The patio (particularly in the evening) was perfect to enjoy a local single malt.

Cons:

I would have loved a shower, as opposed to just a tub. And a single faucet for hot and cold water in the ensuite.

Pros:

Walks in woods like watching you restore hotel love cisterns and long chains, curtains beautiful and hang properly, bed-side lights beautiful and love all the dolls house's ,old doll's pram it's beautiful and all the furniture goes with Age of hotel I just love the place. Liked Chef coming to table with food and he looked smart in his nice white's.Would like to see some Thai Food on menus as he and his wife come from their what about a Thai Night Music and all I would come and hopefully bring friend's. Do you do lunch some days as I only stay in Inverurie excuse for day out.Hotel in great location lot's to do nearby.

An old-fashioned country hotel with a few staffing problems.
Pros:

I liked the room very much, with its old furnishings. it had the vibe of a wealthy person's hunting lodge.

Cons:

The staff go to bed rather early, and several other guests and I had difficulty getting into our rooms because there wasn't anyone there to greet us. The breakfast was ok, but the dining room has a traffic and crowding problem.

Pros:

An absolute gem! We stayed in one of the lodges. Beautifully designed and bursting with character and comfort. Staff were wonderful.
