Very comfortable hotel, with lovely staff.
Pros:

Lovely place in a very scenic part of the country. Staff were very friendly.
The chef makes everything it's excellent food.
I would recommend to anyone who is wanting a quiet get away.
Very comfortable bed.

Kameromschrijving van kamer 14 is misleidend. Van het beloofde tuinzicht was geen sprake; we keken uit op het lelijke dak van een fietsenschuur. De open haard in de omschrijving was er niet en de inloopdouche bleek gewoon een douchecabine. De manager vond dat we niet moeten zeuren omdat de kamer zo ‘goedkoop’ is.

Das Hotel hat einen alten Charme und ist sehr schön gelegen. Das Haus sieht sehr schön schottisch aus.Auch das Personal war nett..
Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind vom Hotel aus sehr gut zu erreichen.

Cons:

Aber auch alten Charme sollte man pflegen. Der Teppichboden war echt schmutzig und das Bett uralt und die Matratze durchgelegen und sehr, sehr unbequem. Ich war nachts dauernd wach.
Ich kann jetzt nur für mein Zimmer und meine sehr schlechte Matratze sprechen. Wie es in den anderen Zimmer ist, kann ich jetzt nicht beurteilen. Normalerweise schlafe ich sehr gut. Die Tür, an der man einen PIN Code eingeben musste, ließ sich manchmal schlecht öffnen und auch sehr schlecht schließen. Wenn ich die Tür zugemacht habe, ist der Nachbar bestimmt aus dem Bett gefallen und wenn der Nachbar die Tür zu geknallt hat, bin ich aus dem Bett gefallen.
Ich brauch nicht viel zum Frühstück, aber dieses Frühstück war sehr bescheiden. Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Honig, Gurkenscheiben, Tomaten, Nutella, Butter, Toast und ein zwei Tagen auch Hörnchen waren da. Es gab aber nur kalte, hart gekochte Eier. Kaffee aus der Kaffeemaschine war sehr stark.(für meine Begriffe zu stark.) Ich musste viel Milch und auch viel Zucker reinmachen, damit er mir überhaupt geschmeckt hat. Es gab auch Obst, sicher aus der Dose und Müsli in Bechern.

An der Decke im Esszimmer war ein Wasserschaden, der renoviert werden müsste.

Für drei Nächte habe ich 340 € bezahlt, was für meine Begriffe echt überteuert ist. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier nicht.

Ein zweites Mal würde ich das Hotel jetzt eher nicht buchen.

Geweldige gastvrouw die het onthaal combineerde met het serveren van het diner en ‘‘s morgens ook nog het ontbijt verzorgde. En dat alles met grote efficiëntie en met de glimlach!

Pros:

Ein unwahrscheinlich schön gelegenes altes Haus mit viel Geschichte! Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Auch das abendliche Essen war klasse! Und der Service stets aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend! Und der Hund - er gehört dazu!

Cons:

Ja - das Haus hat schon einiges gesehen, aber genau das macht es einzigartig! Somit gab es nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat!

Une nuit dans un magnifique château
Pros:

C'était un Magnifique endroit, une belle vue, et très beau jardin, c'était comme vivre à une certaine époque, la décoration avec l'ameublement est très ancien, beaucoup d'histoire dans cette vieille hotel

Needs to improve, probably won't return.
Pros:

Breakfast was average, price of evening food was far too much.

Cons:

Would have preferred cooked breakfast, bar closed around 21:30. No Sky tv.
