Relatively affordable for the time and place
We knew this up front from the photo’s, but we can confirm:
It really is very small; don’t bring a big suitcase!
Bed on the small side and only accessible from on side
The Hotel has superbly friendly staff. I did not pass them without a smile and friendly greeting. This room was clean and had ample space to put my clothes.
Because it is a windowless room to save money which is the feature of these Z hotels to save money and space in a city centre location; I wish the rooms had slightly more generous in room facilities. The tray for tea and coffee is so tightly packed.
Location is best the best. Roman Bath, Therma Spa, all restaurants, bars, cafes, theatre etc...all is next to Z Hotel.

Currently has scaffolding outside, only a minor aesthetic “issue” but made the hotel difficult to recognise at first.

The room was small but perfect for a summer night stay, good air con, everything worked, shower good, bed comfortable. Real coffee bags provided instead of instant.
Nowhere to hang up towels, some hooks in the bathroom would be great! Bathroom sink cracked. Nowhere to put cups etc down on bedside away from bathroom

Good convenient
The air con was not working after we cam back from evening dinner. Tried to adjust settings but the blower was not delivering much air. We could feel slight cool air coming but not enough so not as comfortable as it could have been. Too hot for the duvet! Would have appreciated a sheet instead since it was rather warm
