A very nice stay in Bourton-on-the-water
Pros:

The hotel is located just right in the center of Bourton-on-the-water, a few meters from River Windrush - River Windrush Bridge, within short walking distance from any tourist attractions in Bourton-on-the-water. Their parking lot can accommodate 18 cars, if I'm not wrong. The room is very good with a big window. Breakfast was good too. On-site restaurant and bar was great.

Cosy, comfy, close to everything but just tucked away enough
Pros:

The town can be a busy place, but this property was just tucked away enough that it was a little oasis of calm, while still having very easy access to all the restaurants and shops in the town. Simone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and options were plentiful. The room was not large, but didn't feel cramped at all, and the bed was VERY comfortable. Having a bathtub was also a bonus after a long day of hiking around the Cotswolds.

Cons:

Because of all the rain, we took our shoes off at the door of the room, so it would have been nice to have hotel slippers and even a terrycloth robe to slip into. Otherwise, the experience was lovely.

Staff very helpfull but would ask for a different, quieter room next time
Cons:

Shower and basin very small. We were on ground floor next to stairs and quite noisy with people going up at night. Also we were woken from the room above moving around and telly on till 2am.

Bourton on the water è una piccola cittadina molto romantica e il Chester House Hotel è assolutamente ideale per un soggiorno romantico. Le camere sono ben arredate e molto confortevoli. Lo staff gentile e premuroso. La colazione nella veranda è imperdibile: atmosfera molto bella e cibo molto buono. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Pros:

La ubicacion es fantastica, entorno agradable, agua embotellada disponible a diario y cama bastante comoda

We stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Check in was a breeze and after a redeye flight from the states arriving at the hotel at 11am to be told our room was ready early was such a blessing!! We stayed in room 7 which is right above the lobby and restaurant. Beds were comfy and we absolutely loved all the amenities provided, water, tea, cookies and hot chocolate. Room was very clean.
Breakfast was provided each morning and it was great with hot options a la carte and a little buffet with pastries and juice. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant, even providing the diet cokes my daughter and I craved for breakfast, haha.
Cute patio area outside to enjoy a drink and relax.
Parking was great the first couple of days until the weekend rolled around and the provided parking lot was full - when I inquired at the desk where I should park an employee offered to move their car from the street and let me take her spot, so nice! I was able to find a parking spot a block away though since my parallel parking skills weren't the best.
We had one negative but nothing that would deter us from staying again - specifically room 7 is above the restaurant so breakfast time it was a bit noisy and light sleepers might have trouble.
Everything else was wonderful - the location and setting were spectacular. I would highly highly recommend it.
