Pros:

Basic room above a pub but staff were brilliant and room was clean. Anyone who leaves a poor review needs to become aware of the fact that if you want a top class hotel that's what you have to book and pay for.

Pros:

A good location in Scarborough, less than 10 minutes from the railway station. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and a powerful shower. The heating in the room was quite effective on a chilly night. Once the pub closed it was peaceful.

Cons:

The window blind in my room wasn't the greatest at blocking out the light as it left gaps around the edges

Excellent pub, staff and room. Our room also had kitchen and bathroom. Pool knockout Saturday evening, good singer on. Great stay, see you again soon.

Pros:

Ideally centrally located for the bars, shops and restaurants. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice bar downstairs with free pool table. Friendly staff. Overall, excellent.

Stunning room kind welcoming staff xx
Pros:

I loved the room it was immaculate and so beautifully designed. I loved the atmosphere and Alfie behind the bar was so kind and welcoming. I would 100% recommend it and visit again xx

Only suitable for a piss up
Pros:

Pros: Property is within easy walking distance and proximity to the station, parking facilities, main shopping area and sea front.

The lady on the bar who greeted us on arrival was pleasant, professional, hospitable and made us feel welcome.

The room we stayed in was well equipped with tea/coffee facilities and microwave.
Very spacious and comfortable bed

Great that the TV had the benefit of access to SkyTV

Cons:

Cons: The rooms are above a Pub which is open until midnight.
Granted I knew this on booking and expected it would mean some level of noise, however, that being said, it would benefit from some sound proofing as i didn't anticipate exactly how loud it would be and for how long.

The floorboards in neighbouring rooms were extremely creaky which could be heard from our room and at times was constant!

The windows did not shut properly so unable to drown out the street noise!

Also I would say that the rooms would benefit from more thorough cleaning
The bathroom extractor fan was full of dust which was being pushed into the bathroom and the bathroom window was covered in what looked like soap scum or toothpaste.
These were minor issues, however, felt they were worth mentioning.

The Shower wasn't fit for purpose and almost overflowed during a quick shower as it wasn't draining properly.

Overall this property is only suitable for revellers and those planning on having a night out and not sleeping.
Loud outside until around 1:30am
Earliest we have ever checked out of a place and I am sorry to say, we were honestly so happy to leave.
