The location was absolutely stunning! The staff were so polite, friendly and couldnt help us enough. It was great value for money, super clean, comfortable and only 5 minutes away from the Pavillion which was our reason for staying. Breakfast has a great selection and was very nice. Hopefully we'll be back and bring the whole family next time.

Our first stop on our North Wales adventure was the Chainbridge Hotel, and what a wonderful choice it turned out to be.
We booked a balcony room through Booking.com for £133, literally 30 minutes before we arrived, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, but the real highlight was the balcony overlooking the River Dee.
Sitting outside with a drink, listening to the river rushing over the rocks, was simply magical. As night fell, the constant sound of the cascading water was incredibly relaxing and genuinely sent us off to sleep. It was one of the most peaceful nights we've had in a long time.
The hotel has a lovely, laid-back atmosphere where everyone seems relaxed, perhaps because of the calming effect of the river. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
If you're looking for somewhere to unwind, enjoy stunning riverside views and experience the soothing sounds of nature, I can highly recommend the Chainbridge Hotel. We would happily stay here again.
There really wasn't anything to dislike. Like any well-loved hotel, there are a few minor maintenance jobs that come with age and years of use, but nothing that detracted from our stay. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to make the Full Welsh breakfast a little more generous. It was very tasty, but one small mushroom and a single grilled tomato felt a little mean. A slightly larger portion would make an already enjoyable breakfast even better.
Happy now cooked breakfast reintroduced.

Location was brilliant. Staff so friendly. Clean and comfortable bedrooms. Great scenery.
Parking was in 2 locations. Great if you can park on same level of hotel. If you had to park in the second car park some step steps to navigate down to hotel.
Staff and location was lovely
Friendly staff

Room was very nice with a fantastic view, and hotel was within walking distance to the Pavilion, which meant we could leave the car at the hotel for the night.
Breakfast was nice but could have been bigger, 1 sausage, 1 slice of bacon etc.
Bar was very limited drinks wise and ran out of ice early in the afternoon.
Location was fantastic by the river
The hotel is in a beautiful location, the views are lovely and I have stayed several times before on organised dance weekends. It is clean and well kept.
There was no evening meal available or even any bar snacks on the Sunday when we arrived. It was very disappointing as this was something my friend and I were looking forward to. We ended up having a scone and coffee for evening meal as there was nothing else available. Also apart from the ladies on reception non of the waiting on or bar staff seemed interested or happy in their jobs. Sunday afternoon we only saw one bar person in the whole hotel. Having had a really good experience in the past I had booked in good faith and always had lovely food in the past. I was rather disappointed this time, although it is in a beautiful location. I hope the hotel will start to offer bar snacks on a Sunday....one gentleman had Driven from Essex and had to order food in for his dinner as no food available.
amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, it was walking distance to the concert we were attending in Llangollan
