A nice well kept hotel in a great location.
Pros:

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the hotel which is in a great location. The hotel is maintained to a high standard and the reception staff were particularly friendly. There was a good choice at breakfast.

Excellent service and beautiful surroundings will definitely return
Pros:

Loved the balcony overlooking the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, nice and peaceful. Food was delicious and well presented. Loved the charm of the old building and the history around it.

Cons:

Room was very hot. Would have liked a thinner duvet or just a sheet for the night. Fan was not sufficient and it was dirty. The balcony could have done with a sweeping.

Cons:

We had a budget room at the top of the hotel and it was during a heatwave... Not the hotels issue but it was very warm.

One of our happy places
Pros:

The location is wonderful. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the view is magic. Good food and service.

Cons:

Parking is horrendous. Very narrow bridge and driveway. The short walk to Horseshoe Falls is not advertised as a huge feature. It was our third visit and we only discovered it by following someone.

Simply beautiful! A nature lovers dream.
Pros:

The location of this place was outstanding! A walk across the bridge to the station and my son saw a steam train, we had amazing views of the river and could walk down to it easily. There was a canal walk one way and a walk to the horseshoe falls the other way where there were lots of kayaking. The flowers they had along the front of the hotel too, it was stunning!

Cons:

Unfortunately, we booked through booking.com and asked for a room that slept two adults and a child. They booked us a small double but this was not the hotels fault. Just a warning to book through them directly for the best outcome!
