Pros:

Daphne and her team were very welcoming. The room we had was very clean and spacious. We had breakfast and evening meals there and there was a local band playing live. All in all we had an incredible few days there. Thank you Daphne for your friendliness, hospitality and a blanket for while we watched the entertainment 😀 Absolutely would recommend 👌.

Pros:

Was a lovely stay good value with the complimentary breakfast.

Perfect location, friendly & helpful staff. Food was great, served hot and quickly.
Pros:

Location was great for The British Motor Museum at Gaydon. Breakfast was great, Small & Large. Filled us all up till lunchtime.

Cons:

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Lovely 2 night stay
Pros:

Everything was perfect. Room was spacious, clean and quiet with a little outside space for the dogs.

Food in the pub was very good with an extensive menu.

A perfect place to stay!
Pros:

The Merrie Lion pub itself is fantastic and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. It's an independently owned village pub with a great selection of ales/beers and from the moment you step foot in the door you can feel how much the pub cares about the local community. There's just such a nice charm and atmosphere in the pub that you don't get in many others these days. I've stayed here a few times now and I always look forward to coming back.

The rooms themselves have everything you need are so clean and tidy. The beds are super comfortable and I always feel refreshed the next morning. The rooms are situated in a separate converted barn building behind the pub so it's not noisy at all during the evenings.

I can't stress enough how good the food was throughout each of my stays. The fully cooked breakfast in the morning was the perfect way to start the day. I've stayed for dinner on a few occasions and that was just as fantastic!

It's just real gem of a pub and a fantastic place to stay!

I enjoyed everything about my stay.
