the fact that the room didnt have a child bed as advertised, and then the customer services guy literally abused us on the phone!
I stayed here a few months ago, so knew what to expect. The location for me is perfect as I was visiting my family who live nearby. There is no reception, so entry is by access codes which are sent to you by text prior to arrival. Travelling solo, my room was a single (No 16) and was the same room as my first visit. It is quite narrow but long and spacious enough for my needs. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom has a decent size shower. There was ample storage, together with the usual tea/coffee making facilities and TV. I have not seen any of the other rooms so cannot comment on them, but I am happy enough to recommend Whiteley Mill and will be returning again later this year. It has now become my 'go to' accommodation when visiting family and friends in the area.

The staff were very accommodating allowing us to access a room early from the 4 we booked to get ready before a wedding. Clear instructions for check in, tea and coffee provided in room and very clean.
The shower in our room was either really hot or cold and the room was very warm, we should’ve had the window open!

As I am disabled I drive a Long Wheelbase Transit to carry my electric wheelchair and hoist. There was plenty of room to park it without compromising others.
It was very hot when I stayed and very difficult to reach the window to open it. Also, there was no shelf to put bathroom items on both near the basin or in the shower cubicle. Addressing these issues would make things so much better.
