Unpleasant experience.
Cons:

I booked a double room. When I arrived there was no room available. I had to find another hotel. I cannot give anything other than a poor review.

Pros:

The location was nice.

Cons:

We arrived when it was extremely hot and the room didnt have any AC. The window could be opened just a little bit and the heating unit was on for some reason and took the whole day to cool off.

On our last night there was a gathering of people on the bar who made terrible noice untill very late in the night and the owner didnt do anything about it. The place is overall old and really could use some renovations.

Clean and Comfortable, but let down by lights and high costs
Pros:

We stayed one night here in a triple room with single beds. The room was very clean and comfortable, but the ridiculously bright firelight was a significant barrier to sleep. The poor-quality curtains also let in a lot of light during the early hours of Sunday morning.
The bathroom was fine, though finding the light switch at night was a challenge—it was on the outside, hidden behind the wardrobe.
We had planned to eat in the evening, but after booking, I was told this wasn’t possible due to a party night event. However, some of our group had discussed this with staff the night before, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. In the end, it wasn’t a problem, though we were restricted to the party night menu. The food was plentiful, with as many vegetables as we wanted, and it was really nice—though I did think the prices for food and drinks were a bit expensive.
The gym and pool were available for use, but they closed at 6pm (before we arrived) and reopened after we left, which was a shame. For a one-night stay, it felt like a fairly pointless amenity.
All in all, a pleasant stay with a few avoidable frustrations.

Will return for sure. Thank you.
Pros:

Fantastic location, staff and facilities.

Cons:

We had a beautiful 4 poster bed which unfortunately was very uncomfortable. Two mattress used stacked on top of each other meaning the bed was very unstable and difficult to settle. The top mattress seemed good quality and comfortable, not sure why stacking it on top of another was needed.
