Pros:

Arrived at The Crown Hotel in Stamford only a few words to say Amazing , Magnificent and Outstanding place to stay at on our first visit to Stamford Lincolnshire. We shall definitely be staying here again great staff who were so inviting on our arrival all the way through our stay. 5 Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Great location for exploring Stamford. Lively hotel, attentive staff and good quality rooms and excellent breakfast.
Pros:

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, central location. Wide choice for breakfast, very large portions. Lovely outside area for drinks and meals, colourful flowers.

Cons:

Cosy double had side window facing bar next door, a noisy Saturday night. Some attention to detail needed in the room we had. Not a single shelf to rest anything on in the bathroom. Very limited shelf or drawer space for clothes.

A super centrally located hotel which we will use again.
Pros:

This historical building is fascinating for its nooks and crannies. Its decor is befitting. All of the staff encountered were very helpful and friendly. We were in Stamford for a wedding and were able to check in early which was very helpful. The hotel breakfast and evening bar facilities were great.

Cons:

We were in room 4 and in the short time spent in that room, there were two instances of quite heavy and prolonged treading on the floorboards above our ceiling. Perhaps it's the location of a storeroom which would benefit from some soundproofing? The gravel car park is not conducive to wheeled luggage.

Beautiful hotel,lovely room that was spotless,extremely helpful & pleasant staff in all areas

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing,had full English but was not up to the reviews we had read before booking
Felt meat products not cooked enough also egg & beans not hot ,wasn’t very busy so didn’t understand why food not very warm

Great location, pleasant staff and lovely food. Will definitely return.
Pros:

Breakfast was fresh and delicious (one full English, one veggie full English). Our evening meals were amazing (herb-crusted cod and steak & kidney pie) and our table in the outside area was perfect.
Staff were kind and accommmodating when we asked if our room was ready slightly early and if we could use the car park early.

Cons:

Long life sterilised bottled milk in our room (to have with tea, coffee etc) was unpleasant. The individual long life milks taste far better!
Would have liked our server to offer cereal, fruit, etc without us having to ask.
