Staff were amazing they couldn’t have helped anymore if they tried. When we asked for an extra items they happily obliged. It would have been handy if we had a fridge in our room the bathroom could do with some fresh sealant although it was very clean. If you over 5’5 you may struggle as this lovely little old pub it as expected (small). However other than a few nit pics experience was enjoyable. Lovely local cafe and 2 minute walk public parking.
A little fridge and better lighting
It was in a great location, the staff were friendly and the food was good.

Staff are amazing
The staff were very friendly and helpful with our questions. The wonky room we stayed in had everything that you need for a night stay, toilet, hot shower and double bed with two pillows each. Well presented room and pub, loved the bright orange exterior of the pub.
The room had a kettle, with water already in a glass bottle for drinking and tea bags.
The bathroom needs abit of care, small areas of mould in the shower and the smell of egg for a few minutes after turning on the shower, this might be the drain as the shower tray was filling quickly.
The pub is next to a main road and with the widows open during the night we could head the trackers going past and woke us up a few times.
As the pub is very old you could hear other guests walking around up stairs, the floors creak alot, but even with this we still really liked the room and our stay, it was quirky and had everything we needed.
Friendly helpful
It was nice clean and fresh
Staff very friendly and went above and beyond when we left our room key at the wedding venue, came down late at night to give us a spare key. Also we’re very happy to accommodate an early check in for us.
Mattress on bed was very noisy and squeaky whenever you moved
The staff were super friendly and so welcoming when we arrived. They showed us where our room was and how to lock up etc. Really lovely girls.
The room was lovely and I didn't expect to see two beds - which was great as we had come from a wedding and my husband was in a pickle!
Nothing.
Location very good .
No fire check door on bedroom . Carpets not clean . Shower door broken .
Log on cill to keep window open .Poor decoration throughout property .
Room was spacious and comfortable.
Centre of town so very convenient
Room could do with a little maintenance. Painting and new blinds. A bit more attention to detail.
A beautiful Inn with friendly helpful staff, gorgeous flowers and comfortable pretty seating areas.
A bit hot and a little bit noisy- but only a little and probably because we had to get up early
Staff were the Unique Selling Point, they made the stay memorable. Very nice place to visit.
Left phone in the room and it was waiting for us at reception when we returned.
Very little really, it was what it is, an old world country inn, long may it stay like that.
The food presentation was fantastic but the quality was just OK, The actual Burger was the weak point of the Burger offering. Defiantly a frozen pork burger not a Beef burger ( which probably would have been easier to make). Cod goujons the same. Frozen fancy fish fingers.
But the whole experience was worth the price. ( Again, friendly staff made up for any short comings)
Perfect location, we had a triple room which was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value and highly recommended. Thank you.
Staff were lovely, room comfortable.
We felt the room could do with a bit of a makeover to make it more desirable.
Some fixtures and fittings needed better maintenance
Stopped with the team after a long cycle, staff were friendly and accommodating, service was smooth, great food and drink, bed was comfortable, shower good size, would recommend if staying in the area
