Really close to the heart of the city, enjoyed walking around.
Pros:

Really unique, we really liked our room!

Cons:

Hard to find, there was no signage for 4 & 5 Holywell, and the road to get to it was closed. Parking was far away.

Lovely old hotel with lots of character.
Pros:

It's a really charming, characterful, old hotel, tucked away down a little alley/side-street. It has a small but sweet lounge. The owners/staff were friendly and helpful, to the extent of lending me an umbrella!

Cons:

It's not the fault of the property, but the stairs up to my room were rather alarming. There was no shower as such in my room [but the bath was splendid].

The friendly staff.
Excellent location.
Very character full.
Next to a nice pub with good food.

Cons:

Decor is dated and fixtures and fittings showing signs of wear and tear but not dirty.
The kettle lead didn't reach the plug socket!

My second stay and I enjoyed both of them
Pros:

The location is incredibly handy for the centre of town. The staff are really pleasant. It's not noisy

Cons:

The room was just too small for a full-size double bed. The bath taps were not labelled H and C

Pros:

All the staff were very kind and helpful, and the service was excellent. They were also able to store my luggage, which was a huge help. The hotel was very clean as well.

Lovely Quaint Boutique Hotel In The Heart Of Oxford
Pros:

Helpful staff, comfortable bed, outstanding location. Very quaint little place, very suitable for fans of Morse, Lewis and Endeavour, since it is right at the epicentre of filming locations.

Cons:

Room was somewhat dated but was well appointed comfortable. Parking was a challenge, as the location was difficult to get to, very small to manoeuvre into and at £30 a day was quite expensive. Would not drive there again, would take the train.
