Tarih dolu dokusuna bayıldık.
The building is amazing, the rooms are very nice.
Breakfast is served at 10 am and some activities or tours are earlier, so you may miss it. However, the manager left me some breakfast earlier and that was great. Madloba!
Check in is a little difficult as the doorbell does not work and if you want to reach them they can take a while to answer. So keep that in mind and share the arrival time in advance.
Cozy hotel with really nice rooms that gave an interesting feel with the older style furniture. The location was good, a few minutes walk to the main centre and to public transportation. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was also nice.
Air conditioning was a little warm even after adjustments, but opening the window for a bit solved the problem. So it wasn’t really an issue for us.
Si respira un'atmosfera incredibile . Senti di essere nel cuore della storia e della cultura georgiana
Ideal stay for authors and book lovers. I felt like I was staying in a museum with so much to explore. Sadly I only stayed for one night but if I'm ever in Tbilisi I will be coming back here. It's beautiful. And Sandro the manager was so warm and helpful!
Beautiful historical building full of Georgian culture. Large comfortable room with nice outlook. Period furniture throughout. Lovely common areas for relaxing. Nice breakfast. Very helpful manager.
Only the stairs!
Очень красивое и не обычное место. Тихое. У нас тут было утро невесты и все прошло замечательно. Вкусный завтрак.
Beautiful historic building, friendly staff and calm atmosphere. The location was great. The room and common areas were clean.
Our transfer from the airport was comfortable, the driver was careful and shared many good tips on places to see.
Unique place within the Museum of Repressed Writers
The building is absolutely beautiful, breakfast was quite good and plentiful, the location was excellent. I stayed twice, in two different rooms, and definitely preferred the Steinbeck room.
Some of the staff were readily available, friendly, and helpful, others were hard to find and less helpful.
Mischa's place was incredible -- beautiful rooms, amazing views, warmth, and hospitality. It's clearly a labor of love. Mischa was extremely helpful, generous, and accommodating.
I stayed in two rooms -- the small double the first night was fine, and I had plenty of room to spread out in the building. But the second night Mischa moved me to the top floor of the other building, which was insanely beautiful and comfortable. Cannot recommend highly enough!
I honestly can't think of anything.
We loved staying in this historical museum of literature and poetry of Georgia. It’s a unique experience and it felt like a house of intellect, not a hotel. One day a group of school children attended a seminar about arts downstairs. A whole gallery on the first floor is dedicated on the intelligentsia that historically spent time at this building over the last centuries. On the second floor there are only 5 rooms, each one with the name of a writer who spent time in the room. Interior decoration felt almost untouched, with wonderful antique objects.
Everything was great and beyond.
