Pros:

There was something so special about our stay at Hotel Anezina. The staff welcomed us with such genuine warmth, and the location was perfect for soaking up the beauty of the island. The authentic Greek night was such a highlight for us—music, beautiful food and that wonderful feeling of being part of something local. Will be back next year to do the cooking class for sure!

Pros:

Hotel davvero bello, con stanza comoda e pulita.
La stanza fornita, la n^1, aveva un bel terrazzo ampio e con vista sulla piscina e sul ristorante.
In zona taverne tipiche, supermarket, ristoranti e negozi vari.
Consigliato !

Cons:

unico neo : nel bagno manca il supporto a muro per fare la doccia ( devi sempre tenere il doccino con una mano non potendolo appendere al muro)

The issue was not the wildfire—it was the property’s complete failure to communicate and assist its guests.

After learning about the wildfire on Paros, I contacted the property both the day before my arrival and again on the morning of check-in. On both occasions, I was explicitly told that everything was fine and that I could travel and stay at the property without any issues.

When I arrived, the reality was completely different: the wildfire was only minutes away, smoke filled the area, firefighting aircraft were operating overhead, and the property had no electricity. Only then was I informed that I could not stay. The staff later admitted they had known since around 2:00 p.m. that the fire had spread again, yet they never warned us.

The assistance was unacceptable. We were simply told they had no internet, to contact Booking ourselves, and to drive north to look for another hotel. It was already after 8:00 p.m., leaving us to deal with the emergency alone, resulting in unnecessary stress, extra costs, and a long drive that could have been avoided had we been informed in time.

This was one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever had. The wildfire was not the property’s fault. Their complete lack of communication, responsibility, and support was.
