We had a fantastic week at makis and will be back
Pros:

Location was brilliant. Beach front access and a short walk to the village centre. Facilities were clean and comfortable and staff so welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast and bar food.

Cons:

The pool is looking a little tired but area is kept clean and tidy and lovely areas to relax in. We had to put a towel over door to room as the light poured in through the glass in the door.

Pros:

Hervorragende Lage am Ortsrand direkt am Strand, nur getrennt von einer wenig befahrenen Straße. Schöne, stilvolle Ausstattung. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Am Strand kosten 2 Liegen mit Schirm 15€, eine mit Schirm aber „nur“ 7€. Daher blockieren viele einen Schirm, indem sie „nur“ eine Liege nehmen. Manche 3-köpfige Gruppen breiten sich so auf drei Schirme aus, blockieren 6 Liegen. So ist es billiger, mehr Platz, mehr Ablagefläche, mehr Schatten. Das sollte verhindert werden zB durch sinnvollere Preisgestaltung.
Die Dusche ist winzig und nur aufrecht stehend ohne Bewegung benutzbar.

The town of Skala was disappointing, though great beach club at Ammos.

Room facing car park was poor, though view of sea in distance….. Asked to be moved and were refused.

Pros:

Ein schönes, stilvoll gestaltetes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal, einer hervorragenden zentralen Lage und sehr gutem Essen. Das Ambiente hat uns gut gefallen und wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig. Im Frühstücksraum durch die direkte Morgensonne recht warm.

Quiet, nice rooms.

Cons:

Coffee in room capsule undrinkable, breakfast only offered instant and black not really good enough compared to breakfast offered which was quite nice.
Also extra charge for hotel Beach lounge chairs, should be included for guests

Alles. Prachtig hotel met mooie tuinen en zwembad. Locatie is perfect. Tegenover het prachtige (rustige) strand en 5 minuten lopen van Skala. Alles was brandschoon en werd goed onderhouden. De kamers waren ook super leuk ingericht en werden elke dag heel goed schoongemaakt. Al het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Tot slot was het ontbijt ook heerlijk. Echt een top hotel en wij komen heel graag terug!!
