Le studio est très bien situé mais vieillot hors salle de bain
Pros:

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel lors de notre road trip de 15 jours en Crète du 14 au 17 juin 2026.
L’emplacement est un véritable atout, notamment pour rejoindre Balos très tôt le matin. Nous y sommes allés au lever du soleil et ce restera l’un des plus beaux souvenirs de notre voyage.
L’hôtel bénéficie d’une situation agréable en bord de mer. Prendre le petit-déjeuner ou un cocktail face à la mer est vraiment appréciable. Les extérieurs sont parfaitement entretenus et semblent avoir été rénovés récemment.
Nous avions réservé un studio avec vue sur la mer. La petite terrasse était très agréable et conforme aux photos présentées sur Booking.com. En revanche, si la salle de bains a été rénovée, le reste du studio est assez daté. L’équipement est très limité, avec une ancienne petite plaque chauffante et peu d’ustensiles de cuisine.
À noter également que l’électricité est entièrement reliée à la clé du logement. Dès que l’on quitte le studio, tout s’éteint. En période de forte chaleur, cela signifie qu’il est impossible de laisser fonctionner la climatisation pendant les absences.
Le restaurant propose une cuisine de qualité, mais nous avons attendu environ 40 minutes avant d’être servis. C’est un peu dommage, d’autant que j’avais indiqué avant notre arrivée que nous effectuions ce voyage pour célébrer nos 43 ans de mariage. C’est d’ailleurs le seul des quatre hôtels où nous avons séjourné qui n’a eu aucune petite attention pour cette occasion, pas même un simple mot de bienvenue, alors que la personne qui nous a accueillis parlait français.
Le petit-déjeuner est en revanche très satisfaisant, avec un bon choix de produits.
Le personnel s’est montré souriant et serviable. Nous avons notamment apprécié que nos deux valises soient montées jusqu’à notre studio situé au premier étage, l’établissement ne disposant pas d’ascenseur.
Le stationnement mérite d’être mieux expliqué. Le parking se trouve sur un terrain à proximité, en bord de mer, et non dans la rue.

Cons:

La liste est dans le commentaire global, mais nous n'avons pas apprécié d'attendre 10 minutes pour avoir de l'eau chaude le matin. Il fallait laisser couler l'eau beaucoup trop longtemps, ce qui n'est pas écololique, surtout pour cette très belle île de Crète

Hôtel qu’on a du mal à quitter
Pros:

Hôtel plein de charme , face a la mer avec une chambre simple mais spacieuse ( nous étions dans le bâtiment face a mer ; les chambres plus modernes dans l’autre bâtiment sont moins spacieuses et la vue est inexistante )personnel charmant et repas délicieux .
Matelas de plage à 10€ pour deux matelas et le parasol mais cela les vaut car c est très confortable .
Mobilier du bar superbe avec tables en bois épais, éclairage rafiné, fauteuil confortable : tout est de qualité

Hotel Maria Beach, Kissamos
Hier muss man sich wohlfühlen.
In keinem anderen von uns besuchten Hotel der letzten 20 Jahre, haben wir soviel Positives erlebt.
Doch, wir waren schon 2 x hier.
Die Aufmerksamkeit, Freundlichkeit, Professionalität der Besitzer und Mitarbeiter sind unschlagbar.
Die Lage direkt am Strand samt Ausblick ist sensationell.
Das Hotel ist zwar nicht neu, aber jedes Eck ist gepflegt und sehr sauber.
Die Zimmer sind groß, sowie funktionell, mit genügend Ablagefläche und auch die Dusche überrascht mit ordentlichem Wasserdruck, da wird nicht gespart.
Durch die Lage in einer Sackgasse ist es auch wunderbar ruhig bei Maria.
Genügend Autoabstellplätze stehen auch zur Verfügung.
Bar und Restaurant bieten hohen Genuss bei Speisen und Getränken.
Die Liegen am Strand sind sehr komfortabel, die dicken Auflagen ganz neu.
In Summe ein sensationelles Preis - Leistungsverhältnis.
Bei soviel berechtigtem Lob, traut man sich die einzige kleine Schwäche fast nicht anzusprechen: das Brot und der Kaffee haben Verbesserungspotential.
Wir werden auch ein 4. Mal wiederkommen, evtl. nicht nur für 3 Nächte im Zuge einer Kretarundreise, sondern für länger.
Alles Gute dem herausragenden Haus und seinen guten Geistern.

Cons:

Wenn der Kaffee zum Frühstück etwas besser wäre, würden wir 11 von 10 Punkten geben.

An incredibly cozy and beautiful hotel!

I’d especially like to highlight its excellent location in a bay nestled between the cliffs, creating a wonderful combination of mountains, pine trees, and the sea. The stylish reed umbrellas add even more charm — it looks like something straight out of Instagram.

The coffee at the bar was delicious, and the hotel restaurant served excellent food. What stood out the most was the complimentary treat from the hotel: an amazing crème brûlée and a small carafe of traditional Greek raki.

A truly memorable experience! ✨🌊☀️🏖️

Pros:

Struttura ben tenuta, la pulizia eccellente e le stanze sono molto carine e comode. È in una posizione strategica, a 15 minuti da Falassarna, 1 ora da Elafonissi e 45 minuti da Balos. Per arrivare a Chania la sera si impiegano circa 35/40 minuti.
Il proprietario gentilissimo, lo staff al bar/ristorante molto cordiale, hanno uno stabilimento balneare molto carino.

Heerlijk ontbijt, veel variatie en vers. Schone kamers dagelijks schone handdoeken en schoonmaak alleen niet op zondag
