The Manor is a beautiful property. My room was larger than I expected. It had two doors with one door leading out to the garden area. There was a sitting area with a table and two chairs. Perfect for tea/coffee in the morning. There was also a very comfy leather loveseat. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was nearly as big as the room. It had a free-standing claw-foot tub and a separate huge shower tube. The cooked to order breakfasts and dinner were excellent. The bar and conservatory area was a great place to relax. There were multiple walking paths on the property with one leading down to the shoreline. The location is great too. It is less than a five minute drive to Connemara NP and ten minutes to Kylemore Abbey and DK Connemara Oyster Farm. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful house in a wonderful location . Room was quiet and luxurious . Breakfast fabulous. Lovely staff.

The setting, it was like going back in time to the Gilded Age. It felt like you were part of the aristocracy visiting and being pampered in the lap of luxury. However, Mark and his staff made you feel very welcome and not out of place as we arrived in jeans after hiking. The food Atmosphere were excellent and very importantly Mark and all the staff were very warm and most accommodating. Surprisingly this was one of the high lights of our 3 week visit to Ireland.

Overflow of charm and cosiness in this hotel. Magnificent views and very good restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We will return during our next holiday in Ireland

Tout! C'est un endroit magique hors du temps. On s'y sent comme dans un roman de Jane Austen. Super chambre, super petit-déjeuner, personnel très sympa, bref, un bijou!

Das Hotel liegt idyllisch in einem grossen Garten und befindet sich in der Nähe der Kylemore Abbey.
Ich hatte ein sehr schönes und grosses Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Le Manoir a su préserver tout son charme d'antan et son authenticité, tout en restant parfaitement au goût du jour.
Nous avons séjourné dans une superbe chambre avec vue sur le lac, et l'accueil a été si chaleureux que l'on se sent immédiatement comme à la maison.
Ne manquez pas la petite promenade qui part du domaine : un chemin magnifique aux allures de forêt magique. Enfin, le petit-déjeuner est excellent, très varié et servi dans une salle splendide.

I loved the views from the front rooms, the sunny conservatory, the delightful dining room, the breakfasts, the fires in the drawing rooms from noon and the walks around the woodlands. The staff was so engaging attentive and informative.
