Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen und die Orange Suite bewohnt. Das Frühstück wird in einem Innenhof mit einer Pflanzenpracht serviert.

Excellent rooms and they were located perfectly to explore the old town. Great service. Beautiful roof garden.

Cons:

Some features were a little tired: bathtub/jacuzzi missing plug etc. noise outside rather loud at 2am.

Avli is an exceptional hotel, luxurious rooms and facilities, with fine dining! A++.
Pros:

The property is beautifully appointed, very clean, roomy, comfortable bed, wonderfully decorated and furnished. From the rooms we occupied to the dining areas and facilities, we couldn’t have been more pleased and impressed. The staff is amazing and attentive. The restaurants serve delicious food! The wine cellar is special. Breakfast was exceptional. We were lucky to be here on the shoulder season to get a reservation for the week. We would be back here in a minute if we return to Crete. The entire old town district it’s located in is lively with shops and restaurants. Avli was our home base during a trip to Crete and we were perfectly situated. We also had a cooking class with the chef where we learn the basics of Cretan food and cooking, prepared and cooked an entire meal and had fun. He is so talented!
