It was clean. Some female staff.
Overpriced drinks with non branded makes. Unhelpful customer service and management. Overcharging on hotel facilities and quality. Steep hill to beach only accessible via shuttle bus with limited times slots. Poor facilities. Pool area not big enough , grass uncut and non existent entertainment. Food in restaurants skimped. No fresh orange or fruit
Difficult connection, particularly for a toddler, from the old building of rooms to the pool area.
Here now with a group of friends and I will say the hotel is lovely. Just been refurbished, bar staff are so lovely. Arelia the bar member is so polite and helpful. Recommend the hotel.
Arrived at hotel yesterday and was surprised with how spacious the room was. Very clean and spacious. The pool bar staff are soo lovely and go out of their way especially Arula! Good vibe and always happy to help!
Room & View
• We stayed in a Sea View Deluxe Suite as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 8 and 5).
• The suite had two rooms, a spacious bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the sea.
• The sunrise views were beautiful, and we could watch the sun rising over the mountains each morning.
• The room was well-equipped with two TVs, two mini fridges, plenty of cupboard space, and comfortable seating.
Food
• The food was one of the highlights of our stay.
• Every day there was a good variety of traditional Greek dishes including moussaka, souvlaki, tzatziki, Greek salad (horiatiki), spanakopita, Bougatsa, dolmades, baklava, and loukoumades as well as chicken, pork, and beef options.
• Fresh salads, cakes, sweets, and ice cream were available daily.
• A special thanks to Chef, Mr.Vaggelis Skolias for the consistently delicious meals throughout our stay.
Staff & Service
• The staff were exceptional and always greeted guests with a smile.
• Everyone we met at reception, in the restaurant, and at the pool bar was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Pool, Spa & Entertainment
• The swimming pool area was clean and pleasant.
• The pool bar offered cocktails, coffee, hot chocolate, juices, and other drinks.
• Snack options were limited, mainly cakes and biscuits.
• The hotel spa offered a complimentary foot treatment, which included a scrub, moisturising cream, and a short massage.
• Evening entertainment started around 8:30 pm and included music nights and a bingo-style game. It was a nice way to relax after dinner.
Location
• The hotel is close to several small shops where you can buy essentials, beach items, toys for children, slippers, snacks, souvenirs and beach umbrellas.
• A beach shuttle service is available, although we did not use it as we hired a car and spent most days exploring Halkidiki.
Things to Consider
• The hotel is built on a hillside, which gives it lovely views but may be challenging for some elderly guests or people with mobility issues.
• Access to the pool involves walking downhill, and the alternative route through the restaurant is only available during restaurant opening hours.
• We stayed on the fifth floor, and the lift was quite slow and occasionally hesitated before opening its doors.
• There were not many sunbeds around the pool, although this was not an issue during our stay in May.
Overall
• We used the hotel as a base while exploring Kriopigi and Sithonia and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
• The spacious room, beautiful sea views, excellent food, warm hospitality, and family-friendly atmosphere made for a memorable holiday.
• We would happily recommend Kriopigi Hotel to families looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Halkidiki.
Lovely clean hotel, roulla at the pool bar is brilliant, so helpful told us all drinks available on the all inclusive and so friendly!
Arrived 14 of us spent 45 minutes sweating in the reception to be given a room away from the rest of our group up a hill, my friend is 69 with walking issues and they put us the oldest 3 in a room facing a building, tree and a noisy road fuming ! They won’t move us unless we pay for a bigger room ! And that’s all the manger can do ! Where’s guest relations, where’s keep your customers happy ! The pool is down a hill !!!
Currently staying at the Kriopigi Hotel.
Good food, friendly staff. Layout takes a bit of getting used to but it's ok once you know where you are going. Rooms are lovely, spacious and modern. Shower easy to use and good temperature. Nice size balcony.
Beds and pillows comfortable. Quiet air con.
Exceptionally clean everywhere. Roulla,Eva and Cristos are staff that stand out but the reception staff are great as are all the staff.
We are currently enjoying a very relaxed holiday at the Kriopigi hotel, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, if you like cocktails Roulla makes a wicked Blue Lagoon

It was a pleasure for US to stay in this hotel. Special thanks to Roula, she made our stay much more fun and with a lot of new greece Words to use! :) Definitely recommend :)
Lovely bar staff, make you feel so welcome, especially Roula!!
Lovely hotel, very clean, good selection of food. Great pool, kept clean. Great staff especially Roula from the pool bar, who went out of her way to make us feel very special. Great value.
Very clean hotel, very comfortable, clean pool, food sometimes too European but generally ok, bar staff excellent especially lovely lady called Royal from the pool bar.
I’d say this was the archetypical, European all inclusive offering with both good and bad points, with the good outweighing the bad, hence the 5 stars.
The best of the good bits go to the staff, particularly the pool bar guys and girls who are fantastic, particularly Roula, Martha and George.
The food is as expected for this type of offering, fairly basic, slightly repetitive but overall pretty good.
The outdoor space, around the pool area is limited and I did often wonder how it would be if the hotel was at full capacity, however during our stay, there was ample room with it only getting busier towards the end of the week.
The entertainment was like the food, fairly basic, slightly repetitive but not overall pretty good but again, fairly standard for this type of location.
My main gripe isn’t about the hotel but the guests, which isn’t really the hotels issue, albeit they could manage people a little better. The place was mainly occupied by folk from Eastern Europe, the Baltic states and of course Russia and their ignorance towards fellow holiday makers was on a level I’d not seen before. Right down to even having my toast taken out of the toaster before my very eyes!
But overall the hotel is clean, tidy, run by nice people and is in a good location, albeit I would certainly recommend a hire car as there isn’t much going on in Kriopigi.
