If you can put up with the hit and miss with service whilst there the location makes up for it
Pros:

Location was amazing the hotel was good and basic

Cons:

Staff were very hands off , running out of breakfast food .. Eg milk yogurt and not refreshing unless asked.
Room was not clean when we checked in ? It was still unmade ? Obviously an error and forgivable but one staff member blamed a late check out ?
Staff weren’t friendly was odd

Hotel op mooie locatie, maar duur en gedateerd
Pros:

De locatie was perfect. Een enorm mooi uitzicht heeft het hotel. Wel is de route naar het hotel toe een uitdaging met de auto, maar na enkele keren de route te hebben gereden is het goed te doen.
Mooie ontbijtplekken buiten en mooie nieuwe balkonnetjes.

(Upgrade mogelijk als tip voor het hotel, maar wel een enorme investering: een zwembad voor het hotel met uitzicht over de zee.)

Cons:

De hotelkamer was erg duur voor de kwaliteit die we ervoor terug kregen. Dit stond totaal niet in verhouding. De kamer is erg gedateerd, met een heel ouderwetse badkamer, waar geen foto van was bij onze boeking. Hier zat schimmel rondom de kraan en het toilet spoelde meerdere keren niet door omdat er geen water in de bak zat. Ook maakt het veel lawaai in de nacht doordat er telkens een klein beetje water bij kwam. De douchekop had ook geen constante waterdruk, waardoor de badkamer telkens nat werd, maar ook door het douchegordijn, wat niet hygiënisch voelde.
Het ontbijt was oké, maar er mocht wel wat meer variatie in zitten over de dagen verdeeld. Nu was elke dag hetzelfde. De paar dagen dat er watermeloen was, was een goede toevoeging.

Pros:

Çalışanlar çok güleryüzlü, konaklamamızın iyi geçmesi için ne gerekiyorsa yapıldı. Manzara harika, kahvaltı gayet yeterliydi.

Yolu dar, araç kiralayacaklar mutlaka küçük araba tercih etsin. Otel bizi rezervasyondan sonra bu konuda bilgilendirmişti zaten

It can be a good choice if you’re looking for a quiet place with a nice view, but there are definitely much better optio
Pros:

It was nice that the rooms see the sea and are close to the sunrise beach below, and at the same time it was a complete relaxation because it was an isolated place.

Cons:

The road to the hotel was extremely narrow. Although the hotel had informed us about the narrow road in advance, they did not mention that it was essentially a single-lane road, which could be quite challenging for less experienced drivers. In the last 500 meters, many of the house walls were visibly scratched, apparently because cars frequently scrape against them. Given how narrow and difficult the road is, this should have been communicated more clearly to guests.

As for breakfast, it was adequate but could definitely be improved, particularly in terms of variety. Considering the hotel’s price, there are better breakfast options available for a similar cost.

Also, please note that the beach mentioned below is not free of charge and costs €10 per person. This additional cost should be clearly communicated to guests in advance.

Affacciati sul mare
Pros:

La struttura è in una posizione invidiabile: sopra una delle spiagge più belle dell’isola. Ha parcheggio e a piedi è facile raggiungere ristoranti e bar. Per arrivarci devi passare per strade strette ma se sai guidare non è assolutamente un problema.

Cons:

Le camere sono un po’ da sistemare e ammodernare e anche il bagno che è il punto debole

Excellent deal !
Pros:

We stayed at Sunrise Hotel this summer as a family of four—my wife, our two children, and I—and booked two rooms. To be honest, our expectations were not very high when we made the reservation, but by the end of our stay, the hotel had exceeded our expectations in almost every way.

The excellent beach, beautifully maintained and renovated hotel complex, and fresh, delicious breakfast were all delightful. We especially appreciated the friendly and welcoming staff, who made us feel at home throughout our stay. The owners clearly keep a close eye on the hotel and are always available and willing to help whenever guests need anything.

The location is also excellent. There is a very good Italian restaurant literally 30 seconds away, and Kokkari town center, with its many local restaurants and cafés, is only about a five-minute walk. The beach directly in front of the hotel was a wonderful surprise and became one of our favorite parts of the stay.

One small detail that we really appreciated was the refrigerator in the room. Hotel refrigerators are often tiny and barely functional, but Sunrise provided a large, new, and properly functioning refrigerator, which was especially useful for us as a family with children.

We rented a car during this trip, but we realized that having a car is not really necessary if you are mainly staying in Kokkari. Almost everything you need is within walking distance. If you contact the hotel before arriving, they can also arrange a reasonably priced taxi. If you are visiting Kokkari for just two or three days, I would happily stay around the hotel and explore everything on foot.

Our entire family left Sunrise Hotel 100% happy with our experience, and we are already looking forward to coming back next summer.

Gittik gördük , bi daha gidilmez .

Tesisin sadece manzarası güzel . Deniz güzel .

Cons:

Tesis eski , banyo rezalet , duş alma yeri çok küçük ve perde ile çevrelenmiş , bütün su banyonun içine akıyor , yerler sırılsıklam ve düşme tehlikesi yaşanıyor. Kahvaltı çok sıradan ve basit , her gün aynı şeyler çıkıyor. Tesisin kendine özel bir plajı , şezlong şemsiye anlaşması yok , plaja indiğinizde bir adam geliyor yanınıza ve 10 € istiyor. Çarşaflar pisti ilk girdiğimiz zaman , görevliye değiştirsin diye bayağı bi uğraştım . Tesise giden yol acayip dar , araç kiralarsanız falan bayağı zorlanırsınız . Biz araç kiraladık her gün girip çıkarken dua ettik karşımıza bir araç gelmesin diye.
