Pros:

Grandiose Aussicht auf die Bucht. Der Sonnenuntergang ist fantastisch und sowohl der Pool als auch der Restaurantbereich hübsch angelegt. Das Zimmer war funktioniert und sehr sauber. Schöne, große Terrasse und ruhig gelegen.

Cons:

Für Indonesien recht teuer.

Quiet with nice views
Pros:

The views are very nice. The hotel is on a hill, but you can walk down to the town, walking up again takes about 15 minutes. Staff is very friendly and breakfast was good.

We mochten onze koffers in het hotel bewaren terwijl we een nacht met een boot tour weg waren.
We mochten ook van het zwembad en de douche gebruik maken terwijl we wachtte op onze vlucht.

Pros:

Las vistas desde tanto la habitación como la piscina son un lujo, se ve una puesta de sol con vistas al mar increíbles. Elegimos este alojamiento cuando volvimos del crucero por las islas de Komodo y nos dejaron hacer el check in antes de las 14:00h y aprovechar la piscina hasta que tuvieramos nuestra habitación limpia, todo un detalle para poder aprovechar el tiempo. Piscina muy tranquila porque hay pocas habitaciones, tiene bar pero no restaurante, solo dan desayunos. Sin duda repetiría este alojamiento si volviera a Labuan Bajo.

Golo Hilltop is more of a YOLO-style bungalow/hostel experience, not a hotel.

The one real positive thing about this property is the gardens and the view. The scenery is beautiful.

Honestly, I don’t think this property can be classified as a hotel.
In my opinion, Golo Hilltop is more of a YOLO-style bungalow/hostel experience. The furniture is extremely basic and spartan, although the air conditioner in our room was working.
Our bungalow had a door that did not close properly, and the bathroom felt like something from my grandmother’s house in 1980. The bed was small and very uncomfortable, with what appeared to be an old mattress. Our bungalow was in the first row, very close to reception, so perhaps the experience varies depending on which bungalow you are given.

Noise is another major issue. The property is very close to the main road and you can hear the local traffic and there was loud music from the local area at night, which made it difficult to sleep. On the second morning the load music started at 6:30 am.
There are also some basic hospitality issues that I think guests should know about before booking. Water refills are only available during the day and not after around 9:30 pm, because reception closes at 9:30 pm. There is also a Wi-Fi signal antena retransmitter that makes a strange noise.
Another thing we were not informed about is that you need to tell reception in advance if you want your room cleaned. This is something I would expect a property to clearly communicate at check-in.
Transportation is another disappointment. Many other hotels in the area provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off, whereas Golo Hilltop does not. A one-way transfer costs around 70,000. It is not a huge amount of money, but for me, it is more about the hospitality and the overall value provided.
The hotel is advertised as hotel and restaurant, however there is no restourant, so another customer misleading information.
Breakfast was okay. We are not particularly picky, so we had no major complaints about the food. The coffee, however, was not good.

Vista increbibile
Pros:

Posizione ottima sulla prima collina con vista sull'incantevole golfo, 1,5 km dal centro facilmente percorribili a piedi. Pulito ed essenziale offre colazioni semplici ma buone. Servizio lavanderia economico e preciso. Bungalow riservati e ben collocati fronte mare, gattino simpatico dell'hotel che gironzola fra i clienti

Cons:

Peccato per la camera, spaziosa ma datata. Il bagno completamente da ripensare, buio,senza ventilazione e con un lavandino scomodo e poco funzionale. Perde due punti solo per questo.

Needs some improvement
Pros:

- Excellent laundry service for a reasonable price
- Beautiful view of the harbour and sunset from the pool
- Nice patio outside the room
- Breakfast acceptable, tasty but not that many choices

Cons:

- The bed had patched mosquito net
- Blankets stained (but this is widespread in Indonesia)
- The sink is very small; and the bathroom itself is not very appealing but still functioning
