Good vibe, secluded

Cons:

The hotel was not very well maintained, and the overall service fell short of expectations. Staff were unwilling to provide an additional blanket upon request, which was disappointing. The doorknob in my room was broken, and basic amenities such as hand towels were not provided.

Considering the price paid, I do not feel the stay offered good value for money. There is definitely room for improvement in both maintenance and guest service.

I liked it because I was expecting worse, the location is nice the hotel facilities are nice, the staff are very nice and friendly, except the beach pool and beach pool area. It look much better on the pictures but in reality the beach pool/area is crap!

All is there to make a nice stay, but some details can spoil everything
Pros:

- quite modern style and design, the rooms and terrasse are big, the room service is good quality
- beautiful view on the Vulcano and straight

Cons:

- you pay high price to get a terrasse but you can not smoke on it !
- only one electric plug for all the room ! only one towel for 2 persons, and they refuse to give more (based on a 200 EUR rate per night, and 5 stars classification)
- some of the staff can not inform properly (they told me that breakfast is until 12 am, but actually it was 10 when arrived in the restaurant)
- no indication where and how to go to the reception, when arrived (just guess that you have to park your car somewhere)

Mooie ligging, fijne kamers met balcon, heel goed restaurant en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

2 dagen koud water gehad met douchen.
Veel tegels in de kamer zaten los of waren gebarsten waardoor je je kon snijden.
Het hotel heeft een zwembad aan het eigen strand, echter het zwembad is in slechte staat, veel tegels laten los of liggen op de bodem. Ook het eigen privé strand zag er niet uit, overal afval, rommel en plastic. Er kwam een team die met elkaar gingen praten, echter een paar gingen rommel opruimen, maar heel even, toen weer weggingen las er nog steeds overal troep.
Voor een hotel waar je Rp 4500000 of € 220 per dag betaald mag je perfectie verwachten.

The hotel was lovely and the view outstanding. A great place to keep children entertained!
Pros:

The view was beautiful; sea on one side and lush greenery on the other. The staff was great and made it a point to ensure they could accommodate for our family’s dietary and health needs. The facilities such as the game room and the kids club were fabulous for our children. The spa was also great!

Cons:

The roof top bar’s restaurant wasn’t operational. They had a lovely menu but only the drinks were available. The beach club area could be improved; umbrellas maintenance.

An enjoyably relaxing stay!
Pros:

The view from the room was amazing - having our own little terrace was wonderful for relaxing in private.

The breakfast had a good selection for western.

The staff - in particular Johannes (at the restaurant) and Regina (at reception) looked after us so well and ensured we had a great stay.

Cons:

I think they should mention the beach is down the hill and across the road - not a short few steps as implied on the website. It would be great to designate the pool to be no children during certain hours as it was overflowing.

A wonderful, relaxing stay at beautiful Jiva Anyer resort
Pros:

We had a lovely two night stay at the Novus Jiva Anyer in February before starting a week of work in Jakarta and it was such a relaxing stay. Our rooms were spacious and clean with lovely leafy view to the sea from the balcony. The staff were very attentive and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and also at the pool next to the beach. We loved the seafood that was cooked fresh after selecting your fish. I can recommend Novus Jiva Anyer resort for a relaxing stay!

Cons:

A very small thing, but it would have been nice to be able to order drinks from around the pool. We had to go to the restaurant to order drinks.

Semua staff ramah dan baik, menu sarapan juga enak2, antar jemput tak perlu menunggu lama.

Cons:

Tidak ada tanda arah kiblat untuk muslim sholat, harusnya penunjuk arah ada diatas langit2 kamar agar mempermudah untuk sholat.
