The breakfast was great - wide choice of cooked foods and a really excellent yoghurt with stewed fruits. Coffee is ok, does the job. As everyone has breakfast at the same table, it can be a little overwhelming before coffee. Canapes and Dinner were a nice experience - met some very interesting people. The food at dinner was rich, good but not great. Fish was small in size and a little overcooked. The honesty bar is well stocked and its a lovely place to sit.
Arriving in with amazing views all around the property, it's a little disappointing to be given a room with no view of the water or mountains. Requested separate quilts on booking, this was ignored. Noise from kitchen clean up in our bedroom until about 23:30.
The location is amazing. Private with exceptional landscape.
Historical buildings with the best part of Leenane
Lots to love about a fishing lodge tucked away in the countryside, even for non fisherfolk. Beautiful location, great ambience, and terrific staff. We really loved the communal gathering with other guests each night for drinks and dinner. The bed was very comfortable, with lovely linens. However the room itself lacked a certain something … colour? styling? (Was very bland and did not feel like a space to relax in and enjoy.)
bedroom definitely needs luggage racks/stools
Unbelievable location and experience - communal dining was a highlight
Rooms could use a refresh
Not much. It was shabby but not chic
Felt slapdash. Dinner was only ok. Breakfast was poor. Cost for dinner b&b was really high in the circumstances.
First impression is the location of Delphi lodge, a stunning mountainous backdrop set close to a gorgeous lake. Full of old world charm from the reception you get on arrival, to the beautiful bedrooms, stunning views and dining experience.
Nothing
Delphi Lodge is located in a stunning location overlooking a beautiful slough
Quiet and informal
Tout était super, le cadre, les espaces communs et les repas pris en commun. Le personnel est très agréable et aux petits soins pour ses pensionnaires. Un séjour vraiment très agréable et dépaysant.

Room Facilities
Beautiful and well kept estate in a natural and rugged setting. The front of house staff (Maura, Mary & Geraldine) were exceptional, making you feel completely at home yet spoiled red rotten. Bed was comfortable and room was spotless and spacious with old manor luxury. Food was phenomenal, the chefs created delicious, high quality, beautifully presented food for the set menu each evening and the breakfast was 5 star too. The drawing room allowed a quiet place to relax and read during the day and the beginning of social fun with all other guests in the evening. The communal table for dining made for entertainment, everyone chatting and sharing stories, loved it. We were there for my husband’s 40th birthday and staff frequently went above and beyond over the weekend to mark it in fun and thoughtful ways. Thanks for having us and providing a Céad Míle Fáilte!
The room was a little too hot but you can adjust the radiator easily
This hotel is very special. Its location is remote but wonderful. The scenery in the area is awesome. It is cosy, comfortable and welcoming. The staff are just so lovely. Canapés, dinner and breakfast were excellent. What's really nice is the dining experience, shared with the other guests.
What's there not to like about all the above??!!
Everything about the place is magical.
