Pros:

Easy to find food nearest at hotel. Good staffs.

Cons:

Firstly, I think the hotel needs to improve its facilities. For example, an iron should be provided in the room or made available upon request.
The cleanliness of the room also needs improvement. There was quite a lot of dust, and I found used tissues that had not been properly removed. The bedsheet also had noticeable yellow stains, which was quite unpleasant.
Apart from that, I experienced some noise disturbance from guests outside my room. They were talking and making quite a lot of noise, especially at night. I also heard the sound of bottles being knocked together, which made me suspect that they might have been drinking alcohol. I understand that guests may want to enjoy their stay, but I believe the hotel should ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level, especially during resting hours.
Overall, I hope the hotel can improve the room cleanliness, facilities, and noise control to provide a more comfortable experience for future guests.

An average hotel at a good price but with strings attached
Pros:

Central location. Standard twin rooms have no windows, no ventilation whatsoever and are expectedly claustrophobic. Only superior rooms have windows and are worth staying here. The hotel walls, especially the corridors need a fresh layer of paint. Friendly personnel. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

Cons:

For some strange reason, there is jazz music on all corridors from 7am on, clearly audible inside the rooms. One has to ask the reception to turn the volume down if one wants to sleep longer or during the day. Two mosques nearby playing chanted Koran readings all night long, on top of the calls for prayer. Even earplugs won’t help.

A centrally located and welcoming hotel, but some bothersome details spoil the overall comfort.
Pros:

Good location, in the city center. Clean, drinking water (warm and hot) in the cooler at the corridor. Good internet connection (but there is a small catch). Very friendly, welcoming, and efficient staff; no one disturbs you, and you can relax.

Cons:

Although the internet is not bad, you have to log in to the access point’s web interface every day by re-entering your username and password on all your devices, which is annoying. On the third floor (!) there is “mall music” playing throughout the day until 9 PM, and by the second day it gives you a headache.

The room is small and clearly old and shabby; when I booked it (it was called a “superior room”) there was a photo showing a window, but in reality there was no window, only a small vent to the corridor, right next to which was a speaker playing this monotonous music.

Upon checking in, I found the showerhead broken; I was tired and had to manage washing as best I could. (To give credit, I reported it the next morning, and they came to fix it while I was out in the city.) Overall, it’s essentially just a cheap (but overpriced) hotel pretending to be something more.
