A gem in Thanjavur!
Pros:

Tanjore Hi Hotel is the ideal gateway to explore Thanjavur, and it's surrounding areas. I chose this hotel for a last minute weekend trip, and it turned out to be a gem!

Beautifully recovered, this heritage house is decorated with a modern touch, offering spacious rooms, excellent bed linens, super comfortable bed, and bathroom with tub and shower. Cleanliness of the room, and the hotel overall, is on top. Since there are no restaurants near by, the traditional South Indian delicious breakfast served at the terrace on the third floor, it's the perfect complement to start the day without any hurries.

At last but not least, the staff is most supportive and polite, especial thanks to Senthil Kumar who went above and beyond to make a perfect stay.

I would definitely come back to Tanjore Hi Hotel for my next temple pilgrimage journey.

accueil un peu froid et personnel ne parlant pas ou peu l'anglais.

Un des employés assez agressif dans son approche. Sinon, l'accueil était très bon. Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur.

Converting an old house in to a Hotel was good. But need to improve the interior.
Pros:

Hotel was near to thanjavur palace and museum are near. Staffs are good.

Cons:

No parking space. Bathroom and toilet are in worst even though it is clean

Pros:

El hotel es una casa colonial restaurada, muy bonita, super limpia y muy céntrica. Justo frente al palacio. En la misma calle hay restaurantes, tiendas y bancos. A destacar la limpieza y decoración. Y la amabilidad del personal.

Un hôtel sympathique et bien placé.
Pros:

J'ai adoré la déco et la salle de douche! Le petit déjeuner en roof top.

Cons:

J'ai eu une chambre côté rue. C'est dommage car elles sont bruyantes et l'hôtel n'était pas plein, donc aucune véritable raison de me donner une chambre côté rue. Cela aurait été parfait dans une des chambres en retrait.

Pros:

Hôtel charmant.

Cons:

Petit-déjeuner minimaliste. Le matelas de notre chambre était défoncé, les ressorts en sortaient : ma fille s'est blessée sans aucune compassion du personnel.

Pros:

I liked the design of the hotel. The room was OK and quite clean. Breakfast is just idli but very tasty.

Cons:

The shower tap was broken. It seemed the washbasin has never been cleaned since its installation. It's not possible to eat anything in the hotel or neighbourhood. I couldn't even buy a cold drink around.
