Definitely the best place we have stayed in during our trip to Indonesia, and without a doubt one of our favourite places in the world. There is something magic in Resort Alycastre, totally charming…

The place is absolutely wonderful, with the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful coral reef right in front of the room. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Virginie. She is a wonderful host, cooked us delicious meals, introduced us to fruits and vegetables we had never tried before, made us feel completely at home, and taught us so much about the local culture. You will have the feeling to be invited by a dear friend in one of most beautiful place in the world that tyou will fill as “home”.

Common places, rooms and even bathrooms are stunning and each one decorated in a unique way.

We are already planning our next trip to Indonesia so that we can come back, because both the place and the incredible hospitality have truly stayed in our hearts.

Unbelievable mix of paradise island, comfort, tasteful decoration, charm. Takes a while to get there but absolutely worth it and fully rewarding. At low tide, you can walk to the coral reef. A real gem.

De ruimte en het gevoel buiten te zijn. Het verblijf is Robinson achtig, maar dan luxe met een super aardige gastvrouw. Voor de deur ligt een rif waar je prima kunt snorkelen.

Mooie plek en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Het eten is erg goed, de accommodatie mooi en sfeervol en de ‘excursie’ over het eilandje was erg leuk!

Echt mooiste verblijf waar we ooit hebben verbleven, komt dit bij het paradijs.. Hele mooie smaakvol ingerichte villa's, die echt brandschoon zijn en iedere dag worden schoongemaakt.. Het eten is van sterren restaurant. Hele aardige behulpzame eigenaresse die ons heel erg heeft geholpen met het omboeken van onze vlucht omdat onze vlucht was geannuleerd. Vanaf het strand kan je zo de zee in naar diverse snorkelplekken. Kortom een aanrader!!!

Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile, cibo eccezionale. La spiaggia e lo snorkeling sono molto belli, purtroppo non siamo riusciti a fare immersioni perché il dive master quando c'è un po' di vento non esce. Arrivare sull'isola è un po' complicato e costoso ma ne vale la pena. Di notte occhio a non tenere cibo in camera (neanche tè o spezie o saponi) perché potrebbero attirare piccoli roditori.

Fantastyczny kameralne miejsce, gdzie można oderwać się od świata, zresetować umysł i zanurzyć w naturze. Do tego świetna kuchnia prowadzona przez wlascicielkę. Wieczory w towarzystwie Virginii. i Anthona w 300% zrekompensowaly nam nie najlepsza pogodę. Polecamy serdecznie i pozdrawiamy.

Absolutely everything. Perfection, couldn't have been better from the amazing stylish rooms, fantastic food, beautiful reefs. Such a peaceful location with outstanding hospitality. We couldn't go diving due to routine maintenance but didn't feel we missed out as we were so well looked after and had loads to see snorkeling straight off the beach and around the island on boat trips. This did not spoil our holiday due to the exceptionally high standards and personal touches a truly unique place to visit. Thank you for looking after us so well. Great advice and support in helping us there and back in the way we wanted to travel.

Alycastre c’est un petit coin de Paradis, il n’y a pas d’autre mot :)
La plage et les logements sont magnifiques. On se sent seul au monde devant un décors incroyable ! La nourriture de Virginie est délicieuse (+1 pour les desserts en fin de repas, et le bon vin, rare en Indonésie). Le personnel très serviable et gentils. Et enfin et surtout les récifs alentours sont très bien conservés nous avons fait de supers snorkellings avec le matériel mis à notre disposition (dont un canoë). Merci encore à Virginie pour sa gentillesse et son sourire, vous avez fait de notre cours séjour un moment incroyable !! On s’en souviendra :)

Virginie et Anton nous ont accueillis dans leur petit paradis avec beaucoup d’hospitalité et de gentillesse.
Notre chambre construite en bambou avec salle de bain extérieure était très spacieuse et confortable. La salle commune est magnifique, également en structure bambou avec vue mer.
Nous nous sommes régalés car Virginie cuisine merveilleusement bien les produits de la mer. Anton nous a emmenés plonger dans les eaux turquoises autour de l’île, c’était génial ! Merci pour tout nous espérons revenir très vite !

Struttura meravigliosa. Quattro suite e uno spazio comune molto accogliente. Sei in un'isola con la spiaggia privata. Spazi molto curati (giardino e area comune). Camere spaziose. Colazione/ pranzo e cena buonissimi.

Eine traumhafter Ort direkt am Strand. Die Häuser stehen auf weissem Sand unter Palmen. Wir haben vorzüglich gegessen und wunderschöne Tauchplätze erkundet.

Une île où l'on se sent seul au monde. Ambiance mer turquoise et cocotiers. Bungalows charmants et impeccables. Nourriture authentique et soignée.
Virginie s'est démenée pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux en dépit d'une annulation de vol et de la mer déchaînée.

Beautiful place with different bungalows - joglo style. Like a museum full with antiques from Java and Bali. The restaurant area is made from bamboo and is gorgeous.
The food is worth a Michelin star - Virgini makes all herselve and makes a huge effort to put every day different dishes on the table - all picture perfect and delicious - the diving is amazing and Anton has the best macro eyes ever.
We are experienced divers - 32 years - and are living in Indonesia - we have been diving all around Indonesia and were happy to see the underwater condition around pulau Pamana are still good. We made 13 great dives - even encountered 7 white, black an a silvertip shark. Which is amazing since the shark population - although protected - is still under attack on a daily base. We hope the shark population will get more protection so that these apex predators can restore the balance in sea and ocean. Anton is a real Aquaman and knows so much about the underwaterworld.
