A delightful hotel full of character situated in a beautiful part of Switzerland perfect for hiking or a day trip to Lie
Pros:

The hotel has real character is in a great location - accessible by bus to train station and Lichtenstein - you can walk to the nearby cable car in 30 mins - surrounded by beautiful scenery - the room was spacious and the breakfast outstanding.

Cons:

It would have been good to know beforehand that the restaurant and bar in the hotel were closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - with no restaurants or cafes in the village - and pizza delivery and the buses requiring cash with no atm in the village. Most visitors come with their own car but using public transport proved quite a challenge.

Ruhiger Ort, sauber, freundliches Personal, unkompliziert und feines Frühstück

Cons:

Klimaanlage wäre top! Es gab zwar einen Ventilator, aber eine Klimaanlage hätte es super gemacht.

Nice quiet location.

Cons:

Restaurant isn't open for dinner. Nothing else close. Quite hot with just a small fan. A long way up to the 3rd floor

Perle in schöner Landschaft ohne Genussmomente

Direkt an der Durchfahrtstraße gelegen vermissten wir die erhoffte idyllische Atmosphäre und Ruhe. Das Zimmer war groß, die Ausstattung entspricht allerdings nicht mehr den heutigen Erfordernissen. Die Einrichtung ist erneuerungsbedürftig. Für "nur schlafen" ist das Hotel ausreichend, genießen kann man es leider nicht.
Sehr freundlicher Service und schöner Restaurantbereich, der leider an mehreren Tagen der Woche geschlossen ist.

Pros:

I loved the location. Although it is a bit far away, it is set in the quiet hills and is absolutely stunning. It’s very peaceful with no noise at all and truly beautiful.

Cons:

Public transportation is runs every hour and it doesn’t help if you want to arrive in that way, but I you have a car, it’s much easier.
