Good for your budger
Pros:

A great budget hotel in Ipoh, I would say. Definitely not for those who are looking for a modern hotel, but if you love old-school charm, this place is worth considering.

The room was nice and clean, with a big wardrobe to keep our things. The toilet was also clean and spacious. And the water? I just loved the hot and cold shower!

The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. They were also very helpful and always ready to assist us.

The location is great too, with many restaurants and places within walking distance. There is free parking, and it is easy to get to many places around Ipoh.

Definitely a great choice for a budget family stay. We would surely come back again!

Cons:

We have to climb up as it has no elevator. For young people it's still ok but for senior citizen or those who need elevator, not recommended.

Badly managed facilities but good location
Pros:

The location is good...and it includes breakfast (limited offering) but still OK.

Cons:

The room was small, the water pressure was bad and erratic sudden drop in pressure..sudden hot sudden cold..
After changing room (same level 6) water issue remains...but add on sudden Aircon leaking...after another room change (lower level) water issue fixed but Aircon remote doesn't work...luckily my phone has a remote function otherwise will be pretty miserable and hot.

Clean and convenient location
Pros:

the rooms are clean,the the air conditioning at 1st room which given to us was not working. After informing counter, they changed another room to us right away. And the air conditioning was new, and with remote control. The counter Indian staff was friendly and helpful, he even call me to confirm my arrival which is nice. And the private carpark was just beside the hotel. Walking distance to night market, tong Sui gai, lots of local food and local specialty shop.

Friendly staff, comfortable stay and spacious room.
Pros:

I had a pleasant stay here and wish to come back for my next trip to Ipoh. I actually stay the night her because of a marathon event and it was a good rest. Friendly staff at the reception who is very passionate about his job and is very particular about the safety of the place. I wish more hospitality staffs are like him! Definitely will return.

Cons:

A bit rundown but nothing major as it didn't affect my stay much. I hope the owner gets some budget to revamp the hotel but I also hope it won't be stripped off of it's vintage old school vibe because it's so attractive.
