Peaceful, comfortable and quiet.
Pros:

It was a very comfortable room and bed. Very quiet with no road noise though I did stay in one of the inner rooms. Beautiful building with alot of history. Location was outstanding. Right across the road from the imperial citadel and surrounded by parks and tons of local eateries. Good place.

Cons:

There was a little bit of a language barrier here and there but nothing to bad that we couldn't communicate. Restaurant on site was okay but nothing incredible for the prices.

Lage ruhig, trotzdem laut
Pros:

Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und bequem, das Zimmer hatte alles was man so braucht und die Klimaanlage war auch sehr leise. Das Personal war wirklich freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und hatte eine große Auswahl.

Cons:

Es war leider etwas laut manchmal, hatte ein Zimmer Richtung Lobby und die Schallisolierung ist eigentlich nicht vorhanden. Ebenso hört man immer Leute im Flur sprechen. Der Pool hat meine Erwartungen nicht erfüllt.
Es gibt kaum Restaurants in der Nähe wo man essen gehen kann ohne fahren zu müssen.

Incredibly charming boutique hotel with outstanding breakfast
Pros:

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is so full of character and is incredibly charming and chic. From the moment we walked into reception to check in and was met with a lovely citrus scent, friendly greetings from staff and were offered a welcome drink, we felt taken care of. The rooms were amazing and the whole hotel and it grounds far exceeding our expectations. Such a special hotel. The breakfast was the best we had in any hotel in Vietnam (or elsewhere for that matter), such a lovely array of Vietnamese dishes, crepes, fruit, homemade yogurt, eggs made to your liking, pastries etc. Stunning. We also had a meal in the hotel restaurant one evening and that was really delicious too. The pool was nice and they provided plenty of pool towels. It is located very centrally and it was nice to be able to walk to the Imperial City so easily. The area around the hotel feels very local, not as touristy as other places we visited in Vietnam, and we found some great places to eat out very cheaply and buy amazing take-away banh mis for snacks. We wished we had stayed here one day extra, it was a truly exceptional hotel with wonderful staff and facilities.

Cons:

Laundry is charged by the item (not weight as in other hotels we stayed in Vietnam) and that makes it very expensive. As the hotel is located within a central area, we took our laundry to a local place that did our laundry by weight in 6hrs at a very cheap rate, so no need to use the hotel for laundry.
