Beautiful location
Although the hotel is at the beach, the beach is managed by another company, so anything at the beach is NOT included. You have to pay a third party for beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. It should be disclosed by the hotel.
Adorei a simpatia dos funcionários, ajudaram me em tudo o que pedi, pequeno almoço excelente e sem necessidade de stresses. Localização excelente
Nao é nao gostar, é apenas sugestão: deviam ter um corrimão para sair e entrar nas piscinas. Para as pessoas mais velhas é muito complicado. Também as banheiras das casas de banho são altíssimas, deviam alterar para chuveiros rasos para não existirem acidentes.

The quality of the food did not justify the prices charged. Additionally, the handling of a situation regarding gratuities by a member of staff at the Sea Deck was unsatisfactory. The policy and management of tips should be clearly communicated to customers at the time the bill is presented, in order to avoid misunderstandings and ensure transparency

Excellent location. 2 minutes to boardwalk and another three to the beach. Room spacious, cleaned daily, beds comfortable. Lovely view of pools and sea from the balcony. Breakfast was very good with something for everyone. Great variety. Staff were very welcoming and they were all so so friendly. Great 10 days and will definitely return to this hotel

Excellent service from Pedro at breakfast and João in the restaurant for dinner. All the staff were exceptionally good at what they did.
Nothing not to like
It was our third time to stay at the pestana south alvor beach and we really enjoyed it. From checking in with Kristina who remembered us from our previous stays. She was so friendly and chatty, and the glass of bubbly was welcoming. Room was serviced every day and towels changed and bottles of water left. Pedro in the bar was very welcoming and remembered us from before. Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. A short stroll into the village along with boardwalk which is a lovely walk. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will be back before the year is out.

L’hôtel est en bord de mer, mais pas d’infrastructure propre à l’hôtel pour la plage même pas un accord avec un prestataire proche…
The location
The cleanliness was very bad. We saw one of the cleaners mop the decking area where there was a alot of bird poo and then proceeded to put a cloth into the bucket after and clean the tables🙈 shocking . The mattress and pillows were also shocking, one side of the mattress was on a slope and the pillows were like they were years old.
