Sublime
Pros:

This is a hidden gem in Ella that I would recommend to anybody travelling to the area.
It is close and accessible to Ella town, but it is not located IN the town, so you are far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle, but close enough to access all the amenities. Which we thought was perfect.

The views from this hotel are sublime. Possibly the best views we have come across in Sri Lanka so far. It’s also tranquil, peaceful and beautiful.

One of the highlights is the staff. The manager Pirayantha was incredible. He doted on us and made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He even went to get beer for us!!

The younger member of staff Jana was so attentive and helpful, he went above and beyond and always had the biggest smile on his face! We had a special soft spot for him!

If you want to stay somewhere incredibly beautiful, with amazing attentive staff, and wonderful views then Ella Hide View is for you!

Stunning views and great people!
Pros:

This place is just as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures! Everything was up to date and well designed, the food was great and the people were both kind and helpful. The view is stunning but the location is also great for all other things, we stayed in the area for dinner up the street one night, and went into town for another. We would not hesitate to come back!

Fantastisch verblijf met zeer vriendelijke staff.
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijke staff, die je met alles wilt helpen. Je komt niets te kort. Zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen. Lekker ontbijtje. Erg hygiënisch en comfortabel bed. Mooie, moderne badkamer. Ik zou hier zeker terug willen komen.

Cons:

Het is ietwat ver van de stad. Steeds tuktuk heen en weer loopt gauw op. Lopend is het net te ver en door heel donker bergachtig gebied waar je kunt verdwalen.

Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Room was really nice with an amazing view, and the view is also great from the common area.

Pros:

部屋が新しい＆広く、テラスから見える景色が最高だった。窓が大きいので、朝陽で自然と目が覚めてステキな1日の始まりを過ごすことが出来た。

Cons:

自然が多いので仕方がないかもしれないけど、朝食に虫が集ってきて落ち着かなかった。室内で食べる場所もあると良かった。ホテル自体は本当にステキだが、高台にあって中心部から離れているため、毎回トゥクトゥクの運転手と値段交渉しないといけない。しかも、高台にあるからと高確率で高値で言われる。(ホテルに着くまでの道にゴミの収集場？があるため異臭がすごい＆坂道をひたすら登っていくため、徒歩では到底辿り着けない。)ホテルにこもって過ごすなら最適な場所。

Pros:

The view is fantastic. Have not had such a good sleep for weeks. The soothing sound of the waterfall puts you to sleep immediately.
The breakfast was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff!

Cons:

Renovation noise after breakfast, however if you check- out or go on a hike it should not bother you.

The best view in Ella with exceptional service and breakfast
Pros:

10/10 everything. Best view in Ella, exceptional service from the guys who make you feel at home from minute 1. Great start point for the Ella Rock hike and amazing views around the mountains and town. LKr600 tuk tuk to town or you can walk down the train tracks. They are also in the process of adding new and improved rooms and restaurant to the hotel which will make it even better. They also upgraded us to a new room as it was low season. Would recommend to couples or people looking for a relaxed time away from the busy town

Nothing! Building works start early but they’ll be done soon

A hotel that cares and wants guests to have the best experience of their town.
Pros:

The property was located slightly out of the town but was easily accessed on a tuk tuk. We asked to upgrade to one of their new rooms and there were beautiful, and well worth the extra money. We were warmly welcomed and given a very nice welcome drink. Breakfast was also very nice.

Cons:

Nothing.. but Iam very glad we upgraded to a different room as they were very different.

Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender service. Reichhaltiges und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück - unschlagbare Aussicht vom Balkon.. hilfreiche Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Ausflügen. Wäsche Service im Hause..

Alles o. k.- unsere Anregung: ein Moskitonetz vor der Terrassentür wäre hilfreich, damit man von den angenehmen Nacht Temperaturen mit offenem Fenster profitieren könnte.
