Eveey thing was excellent
Wonderful welcome from Christine at Guest Services. Because of flight delays we arrived around 8:00 a.m. instead of 1:00 a.m., but our rooms were still available and we could check in immediately. We received a beautiful room and everyone was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. A special mention also to Faisal at the pool and Ali at the restaurant by the pool — they took such good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. We really felt looked after.
Honestly, nothing. After a difficult journey, the warm welcome and excellent service were exactly what we needed.
I had a wonderful stay at Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with amazing views of the Nile and a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and everything was well organized. I truly enjoyed the hospitality and the unique experience of staying on the island. It was one of the highlights of my visit to Aswan, and I would definitely love to stay here again.

The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful Nile views, lovely gardens and the unusual experience of taking a boat to your hotel. Rooms are spacious, cleaning was good and the laundry service was very good. Some members of staff were superb, particularly the lady who checked us in and continued to look after us during our stay. Bar and restaurant staff were also friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were reasonably priced.
Unfortunately, there were so many small problems that together made for a poor experience. The hotel feels tired, dated and lacking in atmosphere, with lots of staff around but seemingly very little happening.
The air conditioning was poor and on our final night appeared not to be working properly throughout the hotel. We complained and were told it would be fixed, but it wasn't, and we slept terribly. Our room door didn't close properly and was twice left open after cleaning, while the safe also didn't work.
The pool area was disappointing: one pool looked dirty, sunbeds were old and kept collapsing, and one member of staff made comments that made us uncomfortable. Another regularly played things loudly on his phone. There was also nowhere obvious to get drinks by the pool until later in the day.
Food apart from breakfast was average to poor.
None of these things individually would ruin a holiday, but together they create the impression of a potentially fantastic resort that has been neglected and badly needs investment, maintenance and stronger management.
The hotel is situated on a small island, 5 min from central Luxor. There is a boat free of charge, every 30min for 24h. Old Catarat is in front.
After a hot day in busy Aswan it is a relief to take the boat, the rooms are modern, very spacious with gorgeous views on the Nile river and sand dunes. The pool and restaurant is very nice. I highly recommend Pyramisa, we decided to extend our stay at the end.

L’établissement est très beau et grand. La vue est magnifique et ces de belles piscines. Le personnel est très prévenant et les navettes gratuites fonctionnent très bien (une par demi-heure)
La carte des restaurants propose des plats très inégaux. Certains plats n’étaient carrément pas bons (notamment le cordon bleu)
