Clean and small details on the room and toliet

Cons:

Nothing (I have to admit I only went to sleep but everything was perfect!). I have to say something, I would just say that the mattress was too soft for me

Sehr hilfsbereites Personal, leckeres, umfangreiches Frühstück, gutes Angebot an Speisen, gute Lage direkt zur Altstadt, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Habe mich als Alleinreisende sicher gefühlt.

Cons:

Sehr laut von den umliegenden Tempeln, Oropax hilft; Wasser in der Dusche wird erst nach langer Zeit warm, große Wasserverschwendung

Pros:

Best boutique stay in amritsar. Owner has spent attention and love in creating this cozy place. Detailed attention to every aspect.

Cons:

Kitchen facilities not fully operational. It's still under works. However, not much to complain. A little far from the golden temple though.

Size of the rooms are small.

Gurudwara Baba Deep Singh
Pros:

Stay Shaandaar is a well appointed boutique hotel. It provided all the facilities you require and the staff are very helpful. They help with organising transport and have valuable support answering questions about places to visit and money exchange. The Golden Temple is a very short tuk tuk ride away, but you are 2 minute walk away from Baba Deep Singh Gurudwara. If you would like to visit gurudwara sahib this is a must. There also 5 other gurudwara in the same location all as peaceful and beautiful as each other along with 2 of the 5 sarovar in Amritsar.

Cons:

We loved the location ut was fit for our purpose. But if your looking to be central to clothes shops you will need to take a tuk tuk.

Staff behaviour is very good. The location is excellent. Well maintained, clean & food is also very nice.

Nice but could be better .
Pros:

It was a very nice place in a decent area pretty close to the Golden Palace. We ate here in the evening and food was ok. Krish pretty much runs the place and is on hand 24 hours a day.

Cons:

Food was ok no meat as most places in Amritsar don’t eat. Every time we ordered an additional portion of fries they forgot 🤔attention to detail.
Room was ready small and cramped we managed out of our suitcase. The one wardrobe was dirty and looked as if hadn’t been cleaned for months so we couldn’t hang any clothes in it.

Cosy and comfortable rooms on the edge of town in cute hotel with rooftop terrace.
Pros:

Comfortable and well cared for hotel on the edge of Amritsar’s old city. Not too much noise from the road and tasty cooked meals from their home kitchen. Polite and friendly staff.

Cons:

Everything was reasonable for the price and I would be happy to stay here again.

Nice place to stay in Amritsar where the rooms are fabulous and the staff great.
Pros:

The property is very well located, about a 20 min walk to the Golden Temple. Was a haven to come back too.
The staff are fabulous and so helpful - even putting on the football on the TV for us
The room 107 and 106 were really nice and well equipped - the bed was very comfy and the shower excellect.
The breakfast was ok, not large portions or pots of coffee. The food cooked at the Hotel was very nice.

Cons:

Firstly let me say the Hotel is a great place to stay - the only issues we had was the noise from the Temple nextr door which started early in the morning and the barking of dogs who live in the Step Well at the rear. The Hotel cant do anything about these things, they are part and parcel of staying in Amritsar but they can be disturbing .

A Golden location
Pros:

Stay Shaandaar is in an excellent location. Just a short walk to the golden temple. The breakfast menu offers a lot of choice and I had an evening meal that was delicious.
Krish was proactive in making sure my stay was well organised. My train arrived at 1am. He arranged a taxi and this was not a problem. Krish organised transport to the Attari border ceremony and back. He also ordered a taxi to the airport.
The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are fantastic.
